| Very enjoyable. my second time taking it. The only thing I had been told by a friend (I did not see for myself) bathroom was quite dirty...Even if so, it is still the most enjoyable boat ride I have been on on a nice day | ||||||

| My boyfriend and I took the City Lights sail for our anniversary and it was a great cruise. We are both NYC residents and were really impressed with how great this was and had a wonderful time. We'll definitely be back on future sails and will refer friends and family. Thanks! | ||||||

| Our group had a great time. The captain and crew were courteous and attentive. However, there are too many people on the boat to move around. We wanted a romantice evening which is hard to do when someone is almost sitting on your lap. If there were less people, it would be the ideal date! | ||||||

| I had no idea that it was going to be a real sail. It was very exciting but I was a little scared when the boat went too much on it's side. It did not bother me after the first two times. The crew was fantastic and I saw that they were having a lot of fun. I now know what sailing is all about. A fun filled day. One of my best birthday celebrations ever. | ||||||

| The view in itself was astonishing. However - the food was mediocre, if even. The staff clearly did not want to be on the boat, granted it is a Sunday morning. | ||||||

| My girlfriend and I took the sunset cruise on Saturday evening. The boat left promptly at 7:00 PM with an enthusiastic and accomodating crew. The wind was light that evening which left sailing to a minimum, but that did nothing to ruin the tranquility and comfort of the trip. We brought along some snacks to accompany the variety of refreshments on board which the crew made sure to refill often. The views of Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island were absolutely amazing and allowed many excellent photo opportunities before the sunlight was gone. All in all, my only complaint was that the trip was over to quickly. Oh well, we might just go again. | ||||||

| I live here in Manhattan and had taken the tour a few summers ago with some other local friends and had a great time on the water. Thought it would be fun for out of town friends to do as they are in town for labor day wknd. Good times, with Capt Cat, Patrick and i forget the other co-captains name. All were nice and pleasant. Chatty and friendly. Will def come back with friends in the future! Thanks | ||||||

Good alternative to Circle Line

| I booked this day sail during a weekend when family came to visit. Pier 62 is conveniently located at Chelsea Piers - I highly recommend checking out the Frying Pan and the High Line if you have time before or after your sail. The Adirondack is a beautiful boat, and we had a lovely day, but unfortunately not much wind. We ended up motoring about 75% of the time, which was a bit disappointing, but not much we could do. The staff was really friendly and knowledgable, and they serve you Pork Slap beer and other beverages on the boat. It seemed like a more intimate experience than some of the other tourist cruises offered. There were only about 25 people on the boat - it was a very relaxed feel. You should know that the sail only takes you out to the Statue of Liberty and back, so you won't see much of the East River side of Manhattan. Also, it's not a guided tour, so be sure to ask questions about anything you see that you're curious about or have a map of the harbor along so you can identify buildings and landmarks. All in all a pleasant experience. | ||||||
