| Thye Adirondack Schooner was an incredible way to see the city and relax after a hard day at work. The weather was spectacular as was the views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island & the Skyline. As lovers of the water this was the perfect environment to prpose to my girlfriend; thankfully she said yes!!!! We will go again!!!! | ||||||

| Was a perfect night and a great idea for a surprise B-day sail for my BF. He loved it. The crew was nice, the boat wasn't too crowded and the drinks were flowing.....just lovely. It was a Thur night so I can't vouch for any other days. | ||||||

| Crew shut off the engines as soon as we were out in the Hudson. Saw the Hudson under full sail. We sailed down the river as far as Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. Polite and hardworking crew and very knowledgeable captain. Beautiful and immaculately clean schooner with so much history behind her. Would sail again in an instant. Worth twice what I paid. | ||||||

| First off, I understand that no one has control of the weather, but I find it very hard to believe that a determination about the weather had to wait until 1 hour prior to sailing. There is the weather channel and radar and I am sure other sophisticated equipment that can tell you that the trip may need to be cancelled before an hour prior to the event. We live in New Jersey and my family had come for their first vist, so I was excited about the City Lights Tour (I still am), but we tried to call several times and no one would give us a straight answer, so we packed up the family and DROVE into NY (so as not to be late) only to recveive the call that the trip was cancelled. I am sure someone could have made that determination at 5:00. Obviuosly it wasn't a "last minute decision" as the weather was fine (rain stopped and sun came out) by 8:00 (cruise was supposed to leave at 8:30). So now I have 5 adults and 1 child's credit and there are just two of us. We have no children and I have no need to take 3 cruises. I think you should re-think the cancellation policy when circumstances beyond everyone's control cancel the trip. Thank you. | ||||||

| Our family had been in Manhattan for two weeks and we wanted an escape from the concrete and high rise buildings. The brunch cruise was awesome. The kids loved everything from the food to the wonderful views from our boat. The staff was incredibly nice and even provided us with blankets and sweatshirts (it got quite chilly outside). When we finally arrived in front of the Statue of Liberty, we were able to get several pictures without having to scramble over 400 people (like some of the other cruise lines). It was a small, intimate cruise. It was a wonderful way to end our trip! | ||||||

| We'd recommend the trip highly. The small boat made the cruise around the island intimate and was quite a nice experience. One piece of constructive feedback that we'd like to provide. We were looking forward to a quiet reflective trip (in specific contrast to the Circle Line type experience). We weren't expecting a MC/Narrator. On this specific day (7/23/06), a volunteer from a large group narrated the entire trip. I'd suggest that the note for the cruise make it more clear if there was / wasn't going to be an MC. It may well have made the trip more enjoyable for some. For us, having someone knowledgeable of whom questions could have been asked would have been prefereable. All in all it was a fantastic trip that we'd recommend. | ||||||

| Lived in NYC all my life, had to wait for out of towners from Italy, to show them something different. They loved it, i loved it. This is so wonderful i will take this again even if by myself. The female crew were fabulous, having grown up with 8 brothers, living in a male dominated society, seeing these women handle a yacht was quite impressive. They were smart, charming and beautiful. Thanks again, or as my guests would say Grazie Tante. | ||||||

| Beautiful, romantic, smooth, I loved that there was no music blasting. The crew was lovely and courteous, and they worked together effortlessly. I wish there had been more time sailing as opposed to powering, but I assume it has to do with the wind and the time. Also, you can't control who's on board with you, and although everyone was quite nice, some of the patrons were more interested in talking, drinking and taking pictures than just sitting quietly and enjoying the peace of it all. But regardless, I would STILL recommend this for anyone! I will go back again and again, to be sure! | ||||||
