| We had a great time. The boat is beautiful and the crew very nice. It is so silent and intimate, nothing to do with those big noisy yatchts!!!! . Highly recommended. | ||||||

| The schooner sunset cruise was well worth the money & I've recommended it to everyone I know. I took my husband on this cruise for his birthday & he LOVED it. We were 2 of only 6 people (excluding staff) on the boat. It did last for 2 hours and since it was late October it was cold.... but we had plenty of blankets & we all agreed that the cold weather actually added to the adventure. I wouldn't go this late in the season if you don't want to get close to the person you're with- since body heat really did keep us warm!! Stop reading reviews & book it already- you will have a great time. | ||||||

| I had no idea that it would be only 2 couples. My girlfriend and I felt like it was a personal cruise on my own yacht. The food was great and the entire evening was like I had won the lotto and I didn't want to wake up. I will and all ready have recommended this trip to those who don't have yachts or boats. This " ain't" your typical circle line with hot dogs. And yes, I would do it again, but when its warmer and maybe during the day. thank you. | ||||||

| I was one of eight Southern women to visit NY City recently. Our ages ranged from 39 to 50 something. Some had been to NY before, some had not. For those of us who did not want to face the "maddening crowd" on the normal Statue of Liberty tours, we decided we needed to see the beautiful Lady from sail boat. We took the sunset cruise down the Hudson and turned around in front of the Statue of Liberty. The Statue, Ellis Island and the New Jersey and Manhattan skylines were glorious. The crew was very nice and experienced. Since we went late October, blankets accompanied the wine and soft drinks. This was definitely one of the highlites of the entire trip and so very reasonable! I can't wait to make the trip again. | ||||||

| The schooner was lovely but would have been a nice touch to give warm tea or hot cocoa to the guests on board. It is a summertime activity, but if the ride happens in the chilly days of the late fall, perhaps some warm beverages should be offered. Also, I was led to believe there would be some wine which was nowhere to be found. A cold beer on a cold day never sounds enticing. I could have done better sitting on the dock, sipping something warm and watching the boats go by instead of wearing 5 layers of clothing and still freeze my bones off for $40. | ||||||

| I booked the Fall Foliage sail as a present for my husband's birthday and also took our teenage son. I had done this based on the reviews I read, which were very consistent. At first I was worried that they were "planted" reviews. But from my own experience, everyone really did have a good time. The food and crew were FABULOUS. It may have just been luck also, but the guests were few (about 8-10) so we practically had the whole boat to ourselves. We took off a bit late and from a different pier so there was some anxiety in the beginning, but the captain then let us go on a bit longer to make up for the late start. The only other downside to a fall cruise is that it was so cold on the water, but there were wool blankets and hot apple cider to keep us warm. Overall, a great trip and highly recommended. | ||||||

| The staff and crew aboard the Adirondak are always friendly and professional. This trip was no exception! We cruised up the Hudson to see the beautiful Palisades in all their full Fall Glory! We arrived to a tray of h'or d'oevres and hot apple cider. YAY! The lunch was made up of very elegant sandwiches and salads. Made to suit New York City tastes. We even had a dessert tray! Next year I think we should EXTEND the cruise from 9AM - 5PM and include a stop at Sleepy Hollow's Haunted Hayride! The sailing that day was wonderful and Captain Sarah took full advantage of the wind! So sorry they won't be sailing again until the Spring... Oh well, I can always take a circumnavigation of the island on The Manhattan during the winter months! | ||||||

| The cruise was a highlite of my life.I always wanted to see New York and this was the biggest thrill.The three crew members were very friendly and they all could not do enough to make our ride pleasurable.The sites were indescribable from the Harlem River and upper Manhattan down to lower manhattan and its wonderful skyline to the closeup views of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.I highly recommend this trip to anyone that has not seen New York from this side. | ||||||

| This sunset sail was an exciting and unusual way to experience THE CITY: sailing out at sunset, and back in the dark revealed the unique character and unexpected beauty of the city: the sunset on the water and reflected on the buildings, the Statute of Liberty with the moon shining on it and glistening on the water, and, through the darkness, the glittering city lights as we sailed back into the pier. The boat's gentle rocking, created by wind and water, was both calming and exhilarating. The Captain was generous in working with me, and even rescheduled my sail for another evening, when I couldn't make it until 1 hour after sailing-time due to my seriously delayed flight. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and extraordinarily attentive. It was very cool, so they provided, along with champagne, wine, beer, and soda, hot cider and blankets! I would recommend this sail for anyone interested in experiencing what the harbor aspects of a visit to New York offer! | ||||||

| The Luxury Yacht Sunset Cruise was nothing short of perfect. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous, and my date and I had a great time aboard the ship. The interior of the yacht is very comfortable with an enormous amount of class. It's also impeccably kept. I think the best part was that even though there were only 5 people with reservations, the crew didnt hesitate to set sail, as opposed to canceling or postponing the cruise. I would go again in a heartbeat! | ||||||

| What a great experience, friendly, informative staff, a well equipped boat and even a couple of beers! I highly recommed this activity. It was fun, we had a great view of the island and a close up view of the Statue Of Liberty. I would definitely do this again. | ||||||

| The sunset sail is beautiful - such a contrast to the "booze cruises" otherwise on the river. But even in the summertime it can be cool in the evening on the river, so if you don't have someone to cuddle with, that could be a bummer. I'd highly recommend this for couples. | ||||||
