Classic Harbor Line

My wonderful wife took me on this trip for my birthday. I work in manhattan and constantly watch the sunrise, I always tell her how beautiful it is and how I wish we could see with it together. We have 3 small children and this wouldn't be an easy task. She did her research and based on the already good reviews this business had received made her decision. I had an amazing time with her and got to enjoy the sunset for the first time. The time spent on the boat was great and it seemed to fly. I give this boat and its crew the best possible rating they can get.

The sail was lovely! A bit windy going downriver, but delightful and quiet once we got out into the harbor. Great views of the Statue of Liberty and lower Manhattan! Jersey City looked nice in front of the sunset, as well. The crew was kind, able, and knowledgeable.

My granddaughter will be studying in NYC for the coming year and I took her on this tour so that she would see the iconic buildings and sights of NYC. The architect -lecturer was expert, very giving of information on a wide range of subjects. The captain and crew were also very competent and helpful. The vessel was comfortable with cushioned benches and with tables to hold the very good snacks and drinks provided. The yacht was enclosed with glass so we had a very wide view all around. It was a great experience for my granddaughter and me.

Captain was awesome. We were few but mighty on a beautiful sunny Spring afternoon. Can't wait to sail with this company again!

Have done the architectural tour and wanted to go again. Did the brunch trip with my husband for our 7th wedding anniversary. Was such a beautiful peaceful day. Staff was great, attentive and knowledgeable. Looking into the Bear Mountain trip and maybe another brunch cruise for my mother in laws 75 th birthday. Food was yummy and plentiful.

We went on the first sailing day of the season. It was a bit brisk and windy, but that made things more interesting. We motored out and then the crew raised the sails. Thanks to a mid-teens blow, the Adirondack zipped along, occasionally heeling in ways that surprised the less experienced folks on board. The crew was most hospitable, offering soft drinks, beer, and/or blankets, as requested. The only improvement I can think off would be to take the trip around sunset, but option was not yet available. Highly recommended.

I LOVE THIS TRIP. I've scheduled it for office events in the past, but took it for a friend's birthday this past weekend, and can't rave about it enough. The employees are always casual and friendly, the day is delightful, and NYC always looks great from far away. Would do this every weekend if I could.

The boat was great, Captain Kat was great, the crew was great and of course, the beer was great. Highly recommended!

We went on one of the afternoon sails with friends from out of town. This is a great way to see Manhattan without a narrated tour. It's perfect if you want to look at the great views but still have conversation. The ride was smooth and quiet when the motor wasn't running. The boat tipped side to side when it turned, which I guess is typical for a sail boat, but the crew let us know that it would happen, and they seemed to be in control the entire time. It provided some excitement for the guys. I can't say enough about the crew, they were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Awesome way to spend the afternoon and I will do it again.

My wife and I and my 2 grown children took the cruise on a Friday night. We had a wonderful time. It was simply wonderful to see New York city at night all lit up. The cruise takes you up to midtown and turns around, and takes you down to the statue of liberty and up the east river to the Brooklyn Bridge. The cruise takes about 90 minutes. You can either sit inside (large picture windows) or stand outside on the decks. The cruise comes with 1-drink (beer or wine). We also ordered the cheese plate.......

Fantastic! Very exclusive experience. Proposed to my girlfriend on the cruise. She loved it. And she said yes!!

We've been on numerous boat tours around Manhattan and throughout the harbor. We love being on the water near the city. This was "tops" in all of our experience because of the small size and elegagance of the boat, type of people on board who were engaged and interested, and the most informative and pleasant staff. The architectural emphasis was unique -- far more than simply pointing out the sights. Heartily recommend for locals and tourists of all types!

The champagne cruise was tons of fun. They only sell about 30 tickets per trip so there is plenty of room inside and out for everyone. It was a little bit cold on the day that we went so we sat inside and the windows were big all around so it was easy to see the views. The champagne was good and the cash bar had a sizable selection. I enjoyed the beer selection as well which included stone ipa, yuengling light, and a lager i cant remember the name of. Also the crew was super nice and the captain pointed out various facts about the sights which was interesting as well. All around great and highly suggested.
