Classic Harbor Line

it was great to learn the history of manhattan island from the water - a unique architectural and historical perspective

The accomadations were very comfortable. You are seated on comfortable benches around tables. There were about 30 people on our tour, it was not crowded. Bathrooms clean, although no soap in dispenser. A drink and fresh fruit, cheese and other goodies were also provided. We left and returned on time. The crew were very accomadating and the guide was very informative. There is so much to see from the water that it is hard to cover everything. A good overview of the bridges and some buildings is provided, you learn a great deal. The boat ride itself was very comfortable and it was wonderful to circle the whole of Manhattan. Good views were to be had from every seat. It is also possible to go and sit outside. I would definitely recommend it. It is not for small children.

This was the last activity of our fun, yet exhausting, two full days in New York and it turned out to be FANTASTIC! We were able to relax on the boat and unwind, taking in the night skyline before we had to head back to our lives. The views were incredible. The activity was low stress and very enjoyable. The boat was very clean and well kept with the opportunity to enjoy the outside and the wind in your hair or relax inside, both with tremendous views. Would definetly do this again. And the price was very reasonable especially when compared to other activities you can do in New York.

This was an interesting trip but there was some problem with the microphones and that got in the way of full enjoyment. Also, I think it might have been better to either start the trip a little further north or describe some of the highlights around Chelsea and then go further north before continuing. Some of the time we were not sure what was being described. More accurate descriptions of the locations of the buildings would be better. We loved the seating arrangement and the drinks service was excellent. Very well done.

The crew was experienced and knowledgeable. The sail was a great way to see the skylines of NY and NJ.

We had such a good time. We wished it was a longer ride. The Captain was funny and the crew was very attentive. We can't wait to do it again!

We learned a great deal about the architectural highlights of NYC on this excursion; we were later told by friends who have lived in Manhattan for years that we were far more knowledgeable than they after we'd done this activity!

This was a great tour. I'd always wanted to do the circle line tour around Manhattan but never got around to it. So to finally do it but with an architectural guide was very, very cool.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I have lived in New York all my life and saw views and vantage points I'd never seen before. For example, I never knew exactly where Spyten Duyvil was;, now I can say I was there, with a view.. The archtects were very informative and interesting. I recommend this tour to everyone - local and visitor.
