As we all know Manhattan offers a wide spectrum of entertainment. Sailing the Hudson River on the Schooner Adirondack is a truly wonderful diversion from the typical hustle-bustle of the city.

It was great to see the city from the river on a beautiful calm night, the best part when when the captain shut off the engine and we got to sail. Although the crew was very nice, they were not very enthusiastic or knowledgeable. I would recommend it to any though because it was a great experience, especially if you enjoy sailing!

Our group (of 28 to 38 year-olds) took the 1 PM sail (which was not crowded and very pleasant.) The captain & 2 crew members were very friendly & courteous. I highly recommend booking this company if you want a casual sail boat cruise on the Hudson.

My girlfriends and I took this two-hour ride at 8:30pm. We enjoyed the fresh air, great views and break from the city. The crew was very welcoming and attentive! We had a blast and would recommend it to others!

I wanted to surprise my sister with something really fun and different on her visit to NYC, and this was perfect! We both found the views of Manhattan and the Statue of liberty spectacular, and the crew was so friendly! They made you feel so welcome. It is a very luxurious sail on a beautiful boat. The sunset sail is the best too because we got to see the city at day and sunset, and then we returned when it was nighttime and you could see all the city lights. We had the best time!

I have taken this boat ride many times (at different times of the day) and every time is wonderful. The captain is very friendly, the staff are very hospitable and the boat is simply beautiful. There is nothing quite like it when the engine is turned off and the sails are raised and you are swiftly sailing by the busy city. I highly recomend it as a before dinner activity or something unique and memorable to do with friends from out of town. There is something very special about sailing at night (even though day-time cruises are nice as well). A real New York City find...

Over the years, I've often watch the various schooners sail up the Hudson from my office window, and kept promising myself that one day I'd take a sail too. Well, after the horrific situation in New Orleans, it made me realize that in a blink of an eye, a persons life can change so dramatically. Anyway, I booked the sail for me and two friends and we had a wonderful time. The captin, and crew were delightful and the trip itself was so exciting (being that this was our first time on a schooner), refreshing, and just plan fun. When I got back on land I told several friends and family that they should definately try it and especially with the crew of the Schooner Adirondack. Thanks, looking forward to doing a fall trip.

This was an amazing day trip with a great price! The crew was unbelievably pleasant and accomodating. I have already told a dozen people about the wonderful day at sea i had !
