| My wife and I took the Sunset Cruise around Lower Manhattan. The scenery was tremendous and the crew was very friendly. I would definitely recommended it. I would, however, make one suggestion. There should be some type of narration of the sites so that an out-of-towner would know what they were looking at. Other than that, we had a really nice time. | ||||||

| If you enjoy seeing Manhattan and related from the harbour this is a very peaceful enjoyable way to do it. I was quite impressed with the Captain and crew of 2 mates. They kept the sails well tuned while navigating the ship and also serving beverages to all the guests. I will be back to NY next year and this is first on my list of things I will do again when visiting. Wear a jacket but if you forget, the crew quickly finds blankets for anyone needing one. Thanks! | ||||||

| I rode in a big sailboat yesterday. It had two giant wooden masts and three big sails. It was like "Pirates of the Carribean, " only no bloodshed, and our captain had more teeth and shorter hair. He did have a Scottish accent though. Also, we sailed around New York Harbor instead of the Carribean Sea. And like I said--no bloodshed. Just sunshine, warm breeze, ocean smell, waves. No tour guide chatter. We just bumbled around and enjoyed the gorgeous day and the gorgeous air, and took care not to get clocked on the head by a boon while the friendly crew expertly worked the sails. It was one of those rare situations where time slows during a wonderful experience---the two hours seemed like all day. So my advice to any peaceful pirates out there in need of a mini soul vacation is to slip off the shores of Gotham City for a couple of hours in the Adirondack Schooner . ARGH!!! | ||||||

| I had been on the Adirondack several times before, and decided to take my father on it for Father's Day. He loved it. It was a great atmosphere to just catch up on things while taking in the views and escaping the busy city for a while. He is a bit of a New York City history buff, having lived here his entire life, so he very much enjoyed getting to see the skyline from the water - the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, all the buildings in the financial district and downtown, not to mention the Hoboken and Jersey City skylines on the other side of the Hudson River that have changed so much in the past decade. All in all, this was just a great way to spend a few hours, relax, enjoy the drinks and thank my dad for everything. | ||||||

| I arranged for my husband and I to take the Schooner Adironack for Father's Day. We both absolutely loved the sailboat and the crew. It was very relaxing and the scenery was breath taking. | The City Lights Sail on the Schooner Adirondack was the most romantic way to spend an evening in New York! My wife and I spent half the trip enjoying the company of other couples and families, and the other half in a romatic world of our own. The weather was perfect, the sights were breathtaking, and the crew members on the boat were outstanding. I highly reccommend this cruise! | ||||||

| I recently took my girlfriend on the City Lights Sail as a college graduation present, and the trip was truly the highlight of our spring / summer so far! The sailboat is beautiful, and I could have spent the entire 2 hours admiring the wooden structure and the massive sails. I would have missed out on a lot if I did this though! The views that the sail provided were priceless. We went right up to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty and got views of the Empire State Building and New York skyline that I have not experienced in 23 years of living in New York. We shouted greetings as we passed by other vessels on the water, but I felt like ours was the most unique and impressive ride. Perhaps the real highlight of a Classic Harbor Line event is the service that you will receive from the talented and hard-working crew. The captain began the sail by greeting everyone on board and delivering a short and extremely friendly speech on exactly what we would be seeing, how the drink service would go, the layout of the vessel, and also all safety precautions. I found this put everyone at ease and set the tone for the rest of the evening. First, we watched as the crew worked to get the boat out on the river and the enormous sails up. I admired their expertise and strength. After this was accomplished, the 2 crew members besides the captain suddenly transformed into a gracious and hospitable service staff. Throughout the sail, they made sure my girlfriend and I always had an ice cold glass of champagne, or an upper-end beer (Corona, Samuel Adams, etc.--wine and soft drinks were also available) in our hands, yet they were never intrusive whatsoever. This was great service with a smile at its best. We also brought dessert on board and enjoyed this comfortably at our seats on the side of the boat. After the sail was over, we walked by a large, luxurious yacht called "Manhattan" that apparently is owned by Classic Harbor Line and available for public events also, which blew us away because it looked like something from "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous." We will definitely take a cruise on this boat the next time we have an afternoon or night to spare in the city. All in all, this was a night to remember for my girlfriend and I, and a company that I would like to visit again often and recommend to anyone looking for a truly special experience in New York. Don't miss out! | ||||||

| The Sunset Sail aboard the Schooner Adirondack was nothing short of amazing. The staff was great and the boat was very cozy and well well kept (it might get a little nippy so a blanket would not hurt). It was just so relaxing watching the sun fade behind our Lady Liberty and the views of the Manhattan and Jersey City skyline were awsome. This is something I would do again and again not to mention it is very inexspensive, cheaper than dinner and a movie and 100 times nicer!!!! | ||||||
