Like a cruise on a friend's yacht!

| As an individual traveler from Toronto, the experience was like a cruise on a friend's yacht with other guests you had not met, yet. I particularly enjoy seeing great cities from the water so I have taken similar cruises in a few North American Cities ( San Francisco & Chicago, for example). This particular cruise did not have loud music (it had festive music played at a tasteful, enjoyable volume) nor did it have a megaphone-type travelogue voice telling you about every aspect of the trip. (That is why it was more like being on a friend's yacht). The food was great, lots of fresh fruit and cheeses with a full bar and the ship was seaworthy and as clean as in the Navy (I was once in the Canadian Navy). To conclude, the best part of this cruise experience was the staff and crew: they truly worked hard to make sure you were taken care of in a friendly professional manor: they made sure you found all that you needed to enjoy the trip. I highly recommend this cruise. Leo Toronto, Canada | ||||||

| This cruise was a special treat from start to finish. The ship was beautiful and well maintained; the cruise staff was helpful and friendly; the hor d'oerves were tastefully done and of course, the view was spectacular! We would definitely do this again! | ||||||

| It was a very exciting time. The crew was great. You get a unique view of the sights around Manhattan and the surrounding burroughs. I look forward to doing it again the next time I travel to New York City. | ||||||

| I took my parents on the Manhattan sunset cruise for the beginning of my father's three day "retirement decision celebration". It was easily the most fun we had all weekend, and as my family is from New Orleans, you can imagine that we know how to have a great time! First of all, the boat was fabulous. Beautiful wood everywhere, comfortable lounge area, and perfect viewing from either up top or down below. Then there was the service. Captain Sarah, Christina and JP were all amazing. It felt like we were among old friends the minute we got on board. They took pictures of us, explained the sights, and even answered all my father's questions about the navigation equipment. Add in the great food and wine, and you have easily one of the best values in New York. I'm sure I'll be back again soon. | ||||||

| Ths trip around Manhattan in a brand new yacht built along "classic" lines was a perfect platform to enjoy yourself while seeing the "city" fron the outside. The crew was very congenial and you felt like you were their guests. Being a boater from a different part of the US, it was a dual experience where I could see the New York sights and discuss the navigation proceedures in the area with the Captain. My wife was reserved about the trip until she took it. She felt it was the highlight of our trip. | ||||||

| The cruise gives you an excellent view of New York City, in a very comfortable setting, with great food. The Crew was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to relax and enjoy the sites without being rushed. I have recommended this to all my friends. I am thinking of chartering this boat for a business outing. It was a GREAT TIME!!! | ||||||

| this is a unique boat, and a great activity - we had a wonderful time relaxing in the sunny, enclosed parlor, from where you can get 360 views of the city. We also fully enjoyed the drink service & brunch. i hope to do this again very soon - a fabulous way to spend a saturday morning. Also, I would like to send a message to the crew of the Manhattan, a big Thank YOU!! | ||||||

| We took a cruise on the Adirondack once before in warm weather and loved it. This time we took the fall foliage cruise. Unfortunately, the weather was very cold, and we all underestimated it. If we had worn long underwear and true winter coats we would have been fine. The hot apple cider saved us! I would suggest doing a cruise a little bit earlier than the end of October. The crew and captain are great. This is really a fun activity, especially if the weather cooperates. | ||||||

| The cruise was extremely enjoyable offering great views of the city, Palisades, and GWB. The crew was fun and hospitable, offering blankets and hot cider due to the chilly weather. Drinks were plentiful and the food was more than expected - including salad, sandwiches, chips and cookies. Overall it was a great day and I would definitely sign up for it again. | ||||||

| We were telephoned by Adirondack Sailing Excursions 30 minutes prior to departure to cancel trip. We have been offered money back which is good as we could not take advantage of a later date. Oct 22 2005 | ||||||

This could be fun but I would never know.....

| This could be fun but I would never know, because they canceled the sailing trip practically at the last minute. Eventually I recieved a call from the sailing company explaining that because they were concern about a storm and because they did not sell enough tickets they canceled the sail for the night. There was not a cloud in the sky the entire evening which made it all the more embarassing when I explained to my date why we were not going on a sail like I promised. Like I said, this could be a great event, but I'd never know....... | ||||||
