| We were a party of 8 adults and 2 children. The weather was perfect, the crew delightful and helpful and the ship was a beautiful sloop. I would highly recommend taking this wonderful sail. It was great!! | ||||||

| A very special, really remarkable getaway from the bustle of New York City. So interesting to see the City, New Jersey, the Statue of Liberty and other islands, all the bridges from the Hudson. It helped that the weather was warm, with plenty of gentle breeze and the skies clear. Crew were upbeat and caring; they took good care of their guests. We'd definitely recommend the Adirondack to others and plan return trip on our annual Summer trip to the City. | ||||||

Delightful Respite

| This is the fourth time I've been on the Adarondack. Every time there's been a different crew and every time the crew has been friendly, helpful and done much to make it a pleasant experience. It's a beautiful boat that feels wonderful under sail. If I have any reservation at all it's that it seems as if it's felt that it's necessary to always sail past ther Statue of Liberty. Twice I've been in a situation where, because of this, when there hasn't been enough wind the boat has had to return under power. My main reason to take these excursions is to go "sailing" and not be on a motorized vessel. I would much rather skip the statue and do as much real sailing as is possible. I realize, of course, that I'm not a tourist and that this may not be the popular reaction but I feel that there are any number of excursions to and around the Statue of Liberty and it would be nice to be able to take one that is truly just for the experience of the sail. | ||||||

| It was just what we needed to destress. The boat was clean and well maintained. The trip outdid the Circle Line dull and boring boat ride. Coming from Bergen County it was great to not hear about all the sights, I knew of most of my life. The crew was nice and professional. All in all I had as great a time as I could expect. My older daughter lives in New Hampshire and she intends to take the same trip when she is down for a visit. That should be the best recommendation. | ||||||

| The ship was spotless and very pleasant, the crew were very competent and friendly, the food was plentiful and good, the bar was well stocked, and the bathrooms were nice and in good condition. I was glad there was no commentary on the loudspeaker, and we were able to enjoy the sights for ourselves. The guide books that were thoughtfully provided allowed looking up whatever landmark you were curious about. I'm glad we went out to the Statue of Liberty and got a good look at it, and the cruise around Manhattan was a lot of fun and just about the right duration. A very enjoyable cruise. | ||||||

| My husband and I came across your website and decided to take a chance. Well, it was one of the best decisions we ever made. The entire experience was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. As native New Yorkers , we had never sailed the Harbor, aside from the ferry and the Liberty jaunt. This was a whole different ballgame. ...a mini vacation on a Sunday afternoon. We have not been able to stop recommending you to our friends and family. | ||||||

| Three of us found the few hours spent as a memorable experience even for jaded New Yorkers. We concede that it couldn't have been a better day weather wise. The river was busy with many ships and boats of all sizes and it was a pleasure being the quiet boat pushed by the wind and quided my a friendly and knowledgeable captain & 2 crew. They were attentive to everybody's beverage needs although our group was easy on them. | ||||||

| I was with a friend - we are two older women, from NYC, whereas the rest of the group were young (and youngish) couples, and those we mostly spoke to were tourists, in fact German and British. However, everyone was very friendly and the crew were delightful - answered all our questions with pleasure and were generous with the beverages served. The boat was attractive and well maintained. My only caveat was that, being from 6 PM-8PM, we really didn't see the sunset - but the weather was beautiful so who cares? All in all, a super trip. | ||||||

| This was our 25th anniversary and we decided to give ourselves a treat. It was a hot day but comfortable on the water. It was incredibly beautiful at sunset. The views from water level were spectacular. The sound of the water lapping against the Adirondack was amazingly soothing. The crew was very friendly and the champagne was delightful. In short, we loved the cruise and look forward to doing it again. | ||||||

| This was a beautiful way to see the Satue of Libery and the downtown skyline of Manhattan. My 12 yr. old grandson particularly enjoyed it. | ||||||

| We had a delightful sunset cruise. The timing of the cruise was perfect. We had enough light to take wonderful pictures along the trip and it was very pleasant, weather wise. The information we received when we made the reservations, incouraged us to bring a picnic. If I were to take this cruise again, I would only take along a sandwich, or wait to have dinner after the cruise. We found it was a little difficult to eat during the cruise. I would highly recommend this cruise as a great way to spend a quiet tour after a hectic day in the city. The crew was responsive and knowledgeable. Thank you for this great opportunity. | ||||||

| As a tough old cynical West Side New Yorker I really enjoyed this "tourist" adventure. The price keeps down the number of kiddies and oddies, so one sailed with reasonable people and a friendly crew. I guess if I had a suggestion, it would be to begin the sail a little later as the moon had trouble showing itself out of the low haze that surrounds the city. Seeing the Statue of Liberty up close and personal was awesome. Wish we could have hung out there a bit longer. All in all ... a super time. Best wishes. | ||||||

| As a first time "sailor" I was a little hesitant. However, the captain and crew were very knowledgeable, professional and hard working. It was a wonderful experience and the time seemed to fly by. I am looking forward to the fall foliage trip. | ||||||
