Classic Harbor Line

This tour was one of the most fun things we ever did in the city - over the 20 years we lived here! The AIA narrators were well informed, their information well presented and choices of buildings of interest terrific. The boat was a classic, the banquettes comfortable, views superb. The staff was polite and competent to a person. Adding in the fact that the tour including a the glass of wine and cheese, cracker, cookie and cake and fruit spread just made it even more enjoyable. I have recommended this to everyone I have talked to since going on it this week. It rained pretty hard during our trip, but this in no way diminished the tour's enjoyment. A great price point for 2.5 hours of NYC fun!

We had an amazing time on our sunset sail. The crew was lovely and the other guests aboard were so friendly. In fact, we made new friends. I highly recommend this experience for tourists (though it doesn't feel touristy) and locals alike. There was also a nice selection of locally brewed beer.

A beautiful boat; great staff and superb guide. I think my wife and I were the only locals on the boat but we certainly got a huge amount out of this. I wouldn't recommend this for children, but for adults looking for a unique view of NYC I wouldn't miss. It might seem a bit expensive, but the small boat, snacks, drinks and general high quality make this well worth it.

Great crew (friendly & helpful), a relatively intimate setting, not crowded, able to get a little old lady with a walker on & off the boat without difficulty, and a place to comfortably sit inside, should one seek respite from the elements. And the glass of sparkling wine from America's oldest winery was scrumptious.

Excellent commentary by AIA member. Trip completley rounds Manhattan and provides views/info about buildings, bridges, islands, NJ sights incluidng residential, commercial, and industrial structures.

Very friendly crew. A nice little boat. We felt as being in family. Congratulations for the cook, and also for the captain. He knows a lot about architecture, history, and give us a very detailed explication about all. We had a wonderful morning and we have recomended already this tour to other people.

Very pleasant trip around Manhattan with a knowledgeable and approachable guide. We lucked out with the weather - you really want to be on the deck for most of the tour. If it were raining, we'd probably be less pleased. Food was excellent and plentiful, too.

Unlike, say a foliage tour, it's important to be facing the skyline, otherwise you are craning your neck the whole way (2:45 minutes of it). We were there early, and the deck steward said we could sit wherever we wanted, but moved us from the area we had chosen (said it was roped off), by which time the prime seats were all gone.
