| As a first time "sailor" I was a little hesitant. However, the captain and crew were very knowledgeable, professional and hard working. It was a wonderful experience and the time seemed to fly by. I am looking forward to the fall foliage trip. | ||||||

| My husband and I have sailed on the Adirondack several times, and always enjoy it. New York is great when seen from the water, and we especially enjoy the Adirondack on windy days when it can run under sail the whole way. We often bring friends. | ||||||

| i am very familiar with nyc and think best way to show off nyc to out-of-towners is by water...my wife and i took 2 out of town mid-west couples on their first trip to nyc on this yacht brunch trip around manhattan island ...it was fantastic...the boat was luxurious, the food was plentiful and terrific, and the personnel knowledgeable and very service/customer friendly..I give it 5 stars out of 5 stars...worth the price and more...my out of town friends were enthralled with the views and this perspective of nyc...highly recommended | ||||||

| I especially enjoyed the smaller, intimate size of the boat - seating about forty people - as well as the boat’s retro ambiance of classic wood. The crew size and service was excellent. Attention was given to detail – Mother’s day take home bouquets; flowers on all the tables. This three hour cruise around Manhattan Island was interesting historically and visually. I personally would have liked more narration regarding history and buildings. | ||||||

| It was our second trip and it was fabulous. It was a chilly fall day and the leaves were beautiful. It was warm inside the cabin of the motoryacht and the brunch was delicious while we sailed up the Hudson. We're planning our next trip. | ||||||

| We thought we might be disappointed because we were so looking forward to sailing on the schooner. The weather prevented that for us, so we took the yacht. We found that it was very comfortable. The food was very good and the staff extremely friendly and courteous. We highly recommend this fall foliage excursion. | ||||||

| The cruise was a highlite of my life.I always wanted to see New York and this was the biggest thrill. The three crew members were very friendly and they all could not do enough to make our ride pleasurable. The sites were indescribable from the Harlem River and upper Manhattan down to lower manhattan and its wonderful skyline to the closeup views of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.I highly recommend this trip to anyone that has not seen New York from this side. | ||||||

Unique New York City activity

| This sunset sail was an exciting and unusual way to experience THE CITY: sailing out at sunset, and back in the dark revealed the unique character and unexpected beauty of the city: the sunset on the water and reflected on the buildings, the Statute of Liberty with the moon shining on it and glistening on the water, and, through the darkness, the glittering city lights as we sailed back into the pier. The boat's gentle rocking, created by wind and water, was both calming and exhilarating. The Captain was generous in working with me, and even rescheduled my sail for another evening, when I couldn't make it until 1 hour after sailing-time due to my seriously delayed flight. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and extraordinarily attentive. It was very cool, so they provided, along with champagne, wine, beer, and soda, hot cider and blankets! I would recommend this sail for anyone interested in experiencing what the harbor aspects of a visit to New York offer! | ||||||

| Adirondack is a clean, well kept vessal, with a pleasant and efficient two man crew plus captain. Complimentary refreshments are served without a hint of stinting. On the evening we sailed, we were blessed with a stiff westerly breeze and no strong tide, so we ran down to the Statue of Liberty and back up to 23rd St. in near record time (just under the maximum designed speed of the boat). So the captain extended the tour up to the Intrepid and back. It was not the most brilliant of sunsets that day -- but that's not within the province of the captain. It was a fun, relaxing two hours. | ||||||
