Classic Harbor Line

What a nice way to see the sights without the crowd's and noise. A quiet sail around the Harbor. Our Captian (Julian?) did a fabulous job, good time had by all!

We had a thrilling sail in the harbor, the storm clouds cleared and we were able to enjoy the refreshingly cool air a relief from this hot summer. Julien was an excellent Captain and made us feel safe and comfortable. Miguel and John were both very good to us and a very capable crew. Thanks.

The day was pretty much the same weather we have been having, hot muggy rainy.. We are normally at the beach.. and it was just one of those days where I wanted to do something completely different.. I saw a commercial about sailing the NY Harbor on Friday and the thought just came and went.. then on Sunday.. I spoke to a friend of mine who has a daughter about the same age as mine 11.. and I said.. have you ever gone sailing.. on the Hudson.. down by Chelsea Piers.. Statue of Liberty.. Ellis Island.. etc.. she said.. NO.. I had to laugh.. We are New Yorkers.. that's like saying I haven't been to Central Park.. ( which I have ).. lol... Having said.. that.. our first 20 minutes of a little rain.. a yellow jacket.. a few glasses of wine..a lot of laughs.. and the song from Gilligan's Island and watching the kids having a blast.. the sun started to shine.. and the sail was magnificent.. The crew was amazing especially Shane.. they welcomed you.. they made you feel like you were on your own boat.. We met great people from Spain.. we brought cheese and snacks.. took ton's of amazing pictures.. and just enjoyed a fabulous afternoon... I finally got to appreciate.. what New York is all about.. This summer, we treated ourselves to the Manhattan Classic Brunch Cruise around Manhattan and it was simply fantastic. From start to finish - David, Captain Jim, Yuri and Chef Paul were a tremendous team that made everyone feel right at home. The boat is charming, clean and comfortable for everyone (40 or so) on board. It was a scorcher outside so the air conditioned cabin was a relief from the majority of time outside taking photos and enjoying the fresh air, sights and sounds of NYC. The ability to relax, get up and down, grab a cocktail, enjoy a 4-course meal made this a truly great experience. We've done Circle Line and others - this was easily the best of class and we cannot say enough good things about it... Till next time... Nancy & Peter

My husband and I celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary on your Brunch Cruise. The staff was great!!! The food was good . I would of enjoyed scrambled eggs more then the quiche. The dessert could of used more then just "chocolate" cause if you don't ejoy chocolate your out of luck for something sweet. The left over danish would of hit the spot.

The boat was impressive and the crew accomodating- i just wish we could have cut the motors for 45 minutes to enjoy the sail without the engines distraction.

The City Lights cruise on the Adirondack III was relaxing and fun. I'd recommend it to anybody who wants to see the Mahattan skyline at night.

We had a great time aboard the Adirondack 3 on our weekend trip in NYC. Capt. Andrew and crew were great very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Everyone affiliated with the boat company was very friendly and the weather was perfect. We would definitely do this again.

My boyfriend and I took the twilight sailboat tour while I was in New York visiting him last weekend. I can't say enough good things about the trip. The sailboat was gorgeous and seemed like a more intimate option than the other larger boat cruises. The staff were extremely friendly and were readily available to provide drinks to the passengers. I was very (pleasantly) surprised at the number of drink options including the local microbrews. All in all, this is an experience I would recommend to anyone- tourists or NY locals, and I can say that we will definitely be back to sail again.

We went on a double date and brought snacks. One of the best things we've done in NYC yet! Completely worth the price -- high reccommended!!

I didnt know what to expect when i booked a sunset sail as a birthday gift for my boyfriend, but the evening ended up being our favorite NYC activity to date. The captain and crew were wonderfully fun and entertaining but still 100% professional . The fact that drinks are served seemed nice enough, but the cool, fun, local beer choices made it even more interesting. If you're in town, skip the circle line and other water "adventures" and hea straight for the Classic Harbor Line.

We had a fine time. Staff and crew were fun and accommodating. Of course the wind and the weather can not be predicted. With a good breeze (10-15 knots or more), you'll have a real unique experience. If the wind is so light that the ship has to travel under motor power, then it's just a motor yacht and there are several much more roomy and comfortable motor yacht tours from which you can choose.

The captain really does not say too much to the passengers, only to say that we can have wine, beer, etc., but my suggestion is that as we pass certain places, buildings, etc, you can tell the passengers what they are seeing, perhaps some educational information about the statue of liberty. Some of these people, probably most of them are NOT from New York and would love to learn something as they are sailing. I think that would make the sail MUCH MORE INTERESTING, otherwise all you really do is sit , with not much more to do than watch the scenary. Even I as a New Yorker would welcome the knowledge, because some of the builidings and areas of New York, I too am not faimiliar with. It was fun, just could be more fun if the gentlemen sailing the boat had a little more to say to the people. Thank you so much. Mary Ostric P.S. I had asked previous to the sail, via email whether my husband could have sailed the boat, and I noticed that the people closest to the captain did take the wheel. It would have been nice if the captain would have offered the wheel to anyone with experience, my husband would have loved it. But he did not say anything, so we just assumed you could not take the sail.

I went on this with my boyfriend and a couple other friends. It was a beautiful day, very relaxing, and friendly crew!
