Classic Harbor Line

When we went out, it was a gorgeous day with awesome visibility. You could see the city, New Jersey, statue of liberty, verazzano bridge, brooklyn, etc,etc. The captain and sailors were fun and lively (and not bad too look at :) ). I took my mom, dad, friend from Seattle, my 14 yr old brother and my 10 yr old cousin. They loved it!! Will do it every time i come to visit this beautiful city. Thanks SailNYC!!

My coworkers and I embarked on the "Schooner Adirondack" daytime sailboat tour for our annual outdoor team outing. We had a fantastic time- beautiful views of the city in combination with a friendly staff made for a great team bonding exercise. Highly recommmended!

My son and I had a great time! The visibility and weather were perfect that day. The Captain was very entertaining and reassuring when the ship would tilt significantly to the side or splash us slightly, and the crew was very attentive to the needs of all of the passengers. We will definitely take this trip again-with more family and friends!

This is our fourth trip on The Adirondack, and each sail is a delight. The schooner is excellent and the crew knowledgeable and helpful. We plan to sail at least once a month.

What a perfect way to wrap up our experience in NYC! Thank you Captain and crew for an awesome sail - the views were breathtaking! The whole family thoroughly enjoyed the experience - would definitely recommend and do it again when in NYC! We had perfect sailing conditions - the views were exceptional and the crew was very friendly. Love to watch the strength and agility of a sailor! The boat is beautiful! Thank you again!

The sail was what I expected: smith and comfortable

Our boat ride on The Manhattan was one of my absolute favorite things I've ever done in NYC! I've lived here for years but getting to see the city from the water was just incredible. Surprised my girlfriend with this little trip and we were both thrilled with the entire experience- it was the perfect combination of relaxation and excitement- and a great way to escape the heat of the city streets. The boat was gorgeous, the crew was friendly and attentive and the ride was smooth, entertaining and relaxing. Perfect activity for friends, couples, or families! I strongly, strongly recommend taking a ride!!!

loved it...esp bc we had the cushions! if we had to sit on the sides of the boat, would not have loved it as much due to comfort (and we are young and able)...crew was fabulous

We were lucky to have windy weather which made sailing exciting. Crew was very friendly and seemed to know what they were doing. I would definitely recommend to people.

There's always a fear that one of these boat excursions, aka Booze Cruise, turns into something very cheesy and very annoying. The thought of being trapped on a boat with sloppy drunks and Chet on the micorphone telling us about the history of the Colgate clock in Jersey are not what I consider an ideal evening. This experience, however, is not typical and is a delight. The schooner is so much better than the typical party boat. The views of Manhattan are incredible and I was surprised with how much cooler the air is on the water. The crew was fantastic and I was especially impressed with how the sushi and sake were integrated with aplomb. Don't miss this trip.

Defines casual elegance. My husband and I, both longtime Brooklynites, took his parents visiting from Australia for a sunset sail and it was spectacular. This has got to be one of the"must do" experiences if you want to show out-of-towners (or even in-towners) a different side of NY and the view of Lady Libery can't be beat. The boat is spectacular and the crew great; the soda, beer and wine offered are a nice touch. We brought a small cooler with cheese, bread, and soprasatta and were in heaven. About 30 people come on board and you sit on the cabin-top or down by the stern. Folks on the bigger harbor cruise lines were taking pictures of us with envy. Worth every cent .

I took my wife for this sail for a birthday present. We really enjoyed the sail. The crew were all pleasant and did thier best to make it a good experience. I would do it again and I recomend it to people all the time. If your in the city try to schedule in two hours for this, it was well worth it. It was a romantic time with the great scenery of manhatten and the statue of liberty. This was my wifes first experience on a sailboat and it was a way for me to introduce her to sailing. She said, " I'd let you get a sailboat!" at that point I knew I made a good choice.

Went on the Andirondack for an anniversary outing. It was amazing. Even though you are on a small boat, you have enough privacy to be yourself. Very soothing and relaxing activity. I recommend this to everyone both young and old.

THE SHIP IS BEAUTIFUL AND THE SCENERY IS SPECTACULAR. THE CAPTAIN AND CREW WERE VERY ACCOMODATING, PROVIDING INSIGHT INTO THE VIEWS, SAILING, ETC, AS WELL AS INSURING THAT WE ALWAYS HAD SOMETHING TO DRINK . WE HAD A VERY HOT AND HUMID DAY WHEN WE SAILED. BUT IT WAS REMARKABLY COOL AND REFRESHING ON THE WATER. THIS WAS MY SECOND TRIP, HAVING GONE A FEW YEARS AGO, AND SO ENJOYING THE EXPERIENCE. I WOULD DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN. JOAN

The sail was planned as a date night and ended up being so much more fun... then either of us intended! We met another couple onboard and hit it off immediatly! The staff was very good to us...making sure we were having a good time and even snapping pictures of our group! I highly recommend for anyone looking to get off the island for a few hours and try something different! Plus, seeing the city at night (from the water) is beautiful and an awesome way to share something special with your sweetie!
