| Sailing around Manhattan on the small yacht was wonderful. My family had been on the bigger ferry type boats and believe this smaller, more intimate setting was nicer. The food choices were wonderful. Because of the more intimate setting, I was able to talk with other passengers and met folks from all over the world. I don't know if you can share that experience on a large, impersonal type of vessel. | ||||||

| This was a terrific outing. The weather could not have been better, a little chilly but the staff quickly provided plenty of blankets! The sunset behind the statue of liberty was inspiring. The boat was beautiful and the crew friendly, helpful, and eager to answer any questions you might have. Had it not been for a small group of people that were already intoxicated when they arrived on the boat it would have been quite peaceful. I would recommend that if you are looking for a wild party this is not the boat. Great date! | ||||||

| It was a cold, clear night and we wanted to have a special birthday party for our friend. We bundled up and saw the city float by like a dream. It's a visual experience we won't forget. We've seen the city as few others have in the last 100 years. We've seen the view from other boats, but have never been so intimately involved with the river, its currents and the wind. If you want a new perspective on the city, you won't regret experiencing this amazing 2 hour cruise. Al | ||||||

Picture a sunset on a crisp October evening, nighttime Manhatten skyline, a rising full Moon, fireworks in the distance - skimming along the water in a QUIET sail boat, captained by an experienced woman captain, listening to Enya on an ipod with no narration to interrupt the peaceful wonder of man-made skyscrapers lit up like New Year's Eve. It was a peaceful, soothing way to end our New York trip and recover from the heartbreak of 'Oleanna'. We were five Canadian women and a baby and it was a glorious postcard moment! | ||||||

| My husband and I went to New York with our friends to celebrate our 50th birthdays. After a day of touring the city and walking all over, we went to our scheduled tour. What a perfect end to our day. We went on the 8:30 cruise. The staff was so nice and fun. The view of the Statue of Liberty from the water at night was spectacular. We all commented on how wonderful it was and so relaxing. | ||||||

| This was the most beautiful evening I had with my husband .We both enjoyed the sailing. The captain and his crew were very nice and treated us very special. I would recommend this to everyone it's fun romantic breath taking. It has a little of everything good things that is. I would certainly do this again. | ||||||

| I loved the experience. The crew was interesting and the ride was excellent. We did not have many passengers and my daughter had the opportunity to assist the captain on steering the sailboat. I enjoyed the speed and the sights. | ||||||

A great way to top off a day of walking through NY

| We had a terrific day. It started with a walking tour from Brooklyn Heights, Across the Brooklyn Bridge, through the World Trade Center Site and up to Chelsea Pier. We arrived at the docks and were excited to see the Adirondack returning from the Sunset Cruise with an enthusiastic Crew and guests. We were delighted by the kind handling of the crew and the way that they served us. The best part was that we were able to feel as though we were the only guests aboard the ship. The silence of the night moving across the water and up to the Statue of Liberty was an amazing feeling of pride in being an American. With all that we have been through as a country, this day in the city was completed with a simple 2 hour cruise that made us proud to be here. Cheers to the Adirondack! Cheers to America! | ||||||

The Start to a Perfect New York Weekend

| On a warm September afternoon a friend and I decided to celebrate the last of summer by sailing New York Harbor with the Classic Harbor Line. The crew was hospitable, the weather was pleasant and the view spectacular. Sipping wine in the shadow of the Statue of Liberty as the sun set was a moment and an image worthy of an oil painting. We enjoyed every minute of our adventure and all the staff was accommodating, from the woman who issued our tickets at the Chelsea Pier to the crew members who helped us step off the sail boat. I look forward to taking the Sunday night Jazz cruise as soon as I can. | ||||||

| My husband was celebrating his birthday, and our children decided that a sunset cruise would be a special way to celebrate with him. The boat was lovely (our first time on a schooner) and the staff couldn't have been nicer, friendly, and helpful - including Doris (ticket/rez lady). Thanks to everyone for helping make it a memorial birthday evening for my husband. We've been telling our friends and relatives that they must go out on one of your schooners. Regards | ||||||

| For a basic, pleasant 2 hour sale, tht Schooner Adirondack is quite enjoyable. The Captain has a "personality" and the boat is comfortable and well managed. | A great way to spend a couple of hours. The captain had a good personality and his mates were very attentive to the passengers. The ride was so relaxing and refreshing I didn't want it to end. The only thing I would have added is a sail under the Brooklyn bridge on the way back. | ||||||
