| My girlfriend and I are a college couple who live in Brooklyn, and we were both extremely pleased with this perfect evening. We went on the Adirondack, which was a smooth cruise on a great summer night. The crew and staff were excellent, and the ride itself contained a great deal of scenery while we were allowed to sit or lay down on the seating towards the front of the boat. We are looking foward to doing it again. | ||||||

| we truely enjoyed the sail. We were fortunate since there were only six of us on the boat plus crew since people cancelled due to impending rain. The crew was friendly and the statue of liberty looked incredible on the cloudy day!! | ||||||

| The crew was extremely friendly and answered any questions we had. The boat was very clean and very impressive. We would definitely recommend it to people for a way to spend a relaxing afternoon. | ||||||

| I took my sister on this sail to celebrate her upcoming wedding. We had such a nice time. It was very relaxed and informal; the crew was welcoming and friendly. The boat was absolutely beautiful. We brought lobster rolls from The Lobster Place in Chelsea Market, and the crew gave us cold cans of beer to drink. The ride was breezy and beautiful -- we sailed down the southern tip of Manhattan and right past the Statue of Liberty. My sister and I talked as the waves lapped around the boat, and the sails swept us along quickly. It really reminded us of our childhood summers spent sailing in Cornwall, England, even though the city here was obviously much bigger! By the end, we were lying on the boat, looking up at the full sails, and hearing the water and seagulls around us. For a moment, it was hard to believe we were in NYC! I would highly recommend the trip -- I plan to take my parents when they next come to visit, and my little brother already took his girl friend on the evening sunset sail (they loved it, too). | ||||||

| Nice relaxing unobtrusive way to see NYC from the water. The crew are professional and courteous. Even though the weather wasn't good the day we went in terms of sun it made for great sailing in terms of wind. Excellent couple of hrs I'd recommend it. | ||||||

| Fifty bucks a ticket is an awful lot for cheese and crackers with a glass of wine for an hour and a half around the Statue of Liberty. At least come up with more imaginative hors d'ouevres. | ||||||

| My girlfriend and I have done this cruise just before going to the Empire State Building where I asked her to be my wife. The cruise was really great. The boat is very nice, the view is extraordinary and it is just long enough. We have seen everything that must be seen during a trip to NYC, manhattan skyline, the Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty.... Everything was almost perfect ! The only little thing that I had hoped to be better is the staff on the boat. They were just polite, not particulary friendly even if we were not more than 20 people on the boat.... At the beggining I thought they were like that only with me (I don't know why they would but we never know) and as I am a french tourist I thought maybe they had a problem with french people but after a while we started to talk with a guy from New Jersey who was doing the cruise with some friends and he told us that he had the same opinion on the staff that we had. I have to say that one girl was nice, polite and she smiled but there was another one that was almost rude with us. But we are not doing this kind of attractions for the staff so the result is that the cruise was really, really GREAT !!!! It has to be done and in THAT boat !!!!! | ||||||

| I brought my 66 year old father who was visiting from Florida on the City Lights Sail, it was a really nice way to spend the evening...a good alternative to the normal tourist type activity. I will definately be taking other people on the sail again! | ||||||

| First and foremost the entire excursion was great! From the start the captain and crew were very curteous and made the experience even more pleasurable. The trip was well worth the money and the view from the water in the harbor looking back towards the city at night was spectacular. I've been to New York City several times and this was an awesome way to view the city! There was only one thing I was disappointed with and it had nothing to do with the boat or the crew. I would just say that with the cruise being at night and on a sail boat that is constantly moving, its just not the best place for pictures for the simple fact that with it being dark and the constant motion it's very difficult to take good, crisp pictures of the city or the Statue of Liberty. But I think the experience will stick with me enough to not need pictures. | ||||||

| Great trip with a grandchild or a child ages 9-17. Peter, the skipper, was excellent....cheerful and informative, and the other 2 crew were swell. The best part, of course, is under sail. | ||||||

| We really enjoyed the 2hr sail. The captain has a passion for sailing and knows sailing. If you are looking for any information about New York or the area (even what you see on the tour), then you will not get it here. We were treated very nicely by the staff and captain and given a lot of information about the boat, but there was nothing about what we saw when sailing by. It would have been nice to hear some information about New York, the Harbor, the Statue of Liberty and/or Ellis Island. So, if you are not expecting a "tour", then this is great. | ||||||

| We had a wonderful Friday afternoon sail. The captain and crew were solicitous of our well-being and enjoyment of the trip. There was the right amount of talking and silence so we could take in the views and experience the sail. Will - have - recommended to others. | ||||||
