My friends and I had a glorious day sailing around Manhattan. The yacht is comfortable and a perfect size for the most knowledgeable tour guide to be seen and heard We spotted the old familiar buildings and learned about lots of new structures and building plans. Bravo!!

The captain was friendly and knowledgeable about NY. The crew was acccessible and good servers. Being so close to the water and watching the sunset was quite the experience for my husband (a motor boat person) and me a landlubber from Brooklyn. My only small complaint is that I would have rather had one glass of good wine instead of the pinot blanc I was served. In any case I would definitley recommend this to New Yorkers and my tourist friends alike. |

We enjoyed the most beautiful day as we toured all around Manhattan island! We had not been that close to the Statue of Liberty in over 50 years!! We loved all the history our tour guide provided and found the news about the future development plans fascinating. A day well spent. We recommend this trip to anyone who wants a great visual of the most exciting city in the world. |

This type of tour (with knowledgable commentary) has been done in Chicago for a while, so it was nice to have it available in NYC. |

The 3 of us (82 year old mother, her daughter, and me) thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hour, 45 minute tour. The boat is small enough so that every seat affords wonderful views, yet large enough that the ride was smooth. I'm guessing there were 50 guests total on our cruise. We learned so much about the history and ever-changing landscape of the waterfront. Our AIA host/speaker John paced his presentation so as to continually remain interesting. Snacks and drinks were available and a nice surprise. The entire cruise was a favorite moment. My 82-year-old mother-in-law has lived her entire life on Manhattan, yet this was her first time to circle the island. She learned plenty of new things. The overall cost was a great value. If I could choose between riding on a double-decker bus or this boat, the boat would win hands-down. The crew of 3 were also helpful and courteous. We had beautiful weather and that also helped. Make sure to bring an extra layer or two of clothing as temps and breeze on the water will be colder. |

This tour, using an elegant vintage wooden vessel with limited seating, provided an exclusive journey around Manhattan Island. The architect guide was informative and enthusiastic, providing a fascinating discourse on the history and development of the city. An added bonus was the provision of food and a glass of wine. The limitation
of numbers ie approx.25people also made the tour more intimate and personal. |

Our guide was amazing with so much knowledge of NY - he was from the American Institute of Architects NY chapter - a fabulous afternoon cruise that took us through the Hudson, East and Harlem rivers - We were so close to Lady liberty I could almost touch her - We cruised under 17 bridges including the famous Brooklyn Bridge - We saw the World Trade Center being built - Yankee Stadium - before our departure we were given a fantastic map highlighting all the historic site we were going to see on our trip - A fantastic souvneir |

The 1929 yacht and the smaller tour size puts it hands down over the Circle Tour. Yes it is more money, but were do you find your own personal knowlegeable architect guide. It also provides you with a sense of what New York was before it became settled. Our group totally enjoyed the tour. |

One of the most interesting tours of this type I have been on. The docent, I believe his name was John, was not only completely versed in the architecture but also had fascinating information on the geology of the area. I thought it was really nice that he actually interacted with the participants and was more than willing to answer questions and entertain comments. Though the weather was not the best, views from inside the boat's cabin were quite good. Also the refreshments and snacks provided were first-rate. Overall, highly recommended. |

After almost 18 years living and working in Manhattan - and loving the physical texture of the city, including its architecture - my wife and I spent two and three quarter hours aboard this beautiful, small boat in the company of a knowledgeable and personable architecture history professor circumnavigating Manhattan and seeing our city in a way we had never seen it before. This is a must for anyone who loves complex cities. |

Very informative and enjoyable. This is the second time we have taken the trip and would do it again. They serve coffee, tea or champagne and half way through the trip a very nice repast of cheese, fruit and coffee cake. It is a fascinating trip made so in large part because of the knowledge imparted by the guide who is an architectural historian. The boat is very comfortable. |
