Wonderful and well worth the money!!

My family and I have sailed The Adirondack many times and we highly recommend it to anyone who loves being out on the water. The Adirondack is a beautiful vessel run by a very competent captain and crew. The sail is a fantastic way to take in the sights and enjoy the wonder of New York City.

this was our second time on the cruise....and would go again!!

There is no formal narration but if you sit toward the back near the captian, you can ask questions which she happily answers and hear the questions and answers of others about the sites you are passing. This was a wonderful trip for my husband and I, in our 60's, and our son and his girlfriend. But this will be weather dependant as you are out in the open. Breath taking views of of the NY skyline and Statue of Liberty. Not crowded and very personal - and we sailed on Memorial Day. They were fully booked, but it's just a small activitiy. There are no lines and no crowds. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, scenic way to spend a few hours. Including the Pier # in the directions would have made it easier to find.

I purchased these tickets for a birthday gift for my boyfriend and we would go again in a heartbeat! The evening was absolutely perfect!

My wife and I truly loved every minute of the trip. The yacht is beautiful in a retro-look way and very comfortable. The staff was funny and friendly, offering drinks and taking pictures whenever asked. The sunset cruise was perfect because we saw the city by day and by night. The weather cooperated so almost everyone stayed out on the deck. The sunset was gorgeous. We live in the city but had the opportunity to see it from a different perspective. We would definitely consider one of the other cruises or even this one again. Highly Recommended!

It was calm quiet and fun. The only drawback was the length I would prefer a two hour trip. The rest was great. Nice boat and good service.

What a great way to spend a sunny, breezy evening. Beautiful boat and very friendly and experienced crew. We were lucky with the weather- a nice breeze and clear skies. So much more relaxing than the party boats that go past. Made it all the way down to the statue of liberty and even as frequent visitors to New York it was lovely to see the views under the peace of sail rather than from a ferry. A real highlight of our trip and i would recommend. We will definitely do it again.

My husband and son and I visited NYC for Memorial Day weekend. This sailing experience was one of the highlights of our trip. Captain Kat and her crew were great. When she turned off the engines and we sailed down the Hudson to the Statue of Liberty it was wonderful and peaceful. The two hours went by so fast and we hated to see the excursion end. Would absolutely recommend this trip to everyone.

My husband and I live in Brooklyn, and decided to go on a sunset tour for our anniversary. The boat was beautiful, and the crew was helpful, fun, and very willing to answer questions (what's that thing in the water over there? isn't your job hard work? can i get some more beer?). We left right on time, and the whole thing ran very smoothly. They said they'd come around with a few rounds of drinks, but eventually I had to turn them away after my champagne glass was refilled for about the fourth time! The other people on the boat seemed to be a good mix of locals celebrating birthdays and tourists looking for a relaxing way to spend an evening. Definitely a low-key way to see the city from another point of view. Highly recommended!!

This was our second time on the sail, once at sunset and once for midnight. Both have their advantages. Sunset is great because you can truly sightsee in the daylight, yet the temperatures are cooling off and the sunset is usually great. The midnight cruise is very romantic, more time spent enjoying your company with the city as a backdrop. Either way, the view of Manhattan from the water is priceless. And considering the ticket price includes several drinks (up to 3), it is one of the best values around!

Recommend this boat tour with excellent jazz trio and nice tour of Manhattan from the Hudson and East Rivers!!!

We had a great time and I'd recommend it to anyone. The views are spectacular and the crew was wonderful. If you drive to Chelsea Piers, look for street parking before you pay the $30 or so bucks to park. Just read the signs and you'll be ok. You can't beat the price, especially considering what things cost in Manhattan.
