I had a wonderful time on the Adirondack Schooner!! The weather was perfect, the crew was very friendly and it was a great way to see the NY skyline and the Statue of Liberty. I would highly recommend this cruise!!

It was a very relexed mood, with extreme nice people. The crew was really nice and gave us several rounds to drink. The view was fantastic, the weather great! TRY IT!!!!
Perfect sailing Day Sail on Schooner Adirondack or Imagine

If you are a sailor, or if you are interested in sailing, you should definitely come sailing with the Schooner Adirondack, because as soon as the ship leaves the harbour the sails are being raised and off you go to the Statute of Liberty and you do get some nice sailing! And if it rains, you get to come back for free! The crew is very nice and friendly and they do some excellent work sailing this beatiful ship. Actually, Schooner might be a Dutch word, because if you translate it to Dutch, you would say Schoener.

As an individual traveler from Toronto, the experience was like a cruise on a friend's yacht with other guests you had not met, yet. I particularly enjoy seeing great cities from the water so I have taken similar cruises in a few North American Cities ( San Francisco & Chicago, for example). This particular cruise did not have loud music (it had festive music played at a tasteful, enjoyable volume) nor did it have a megaphone-type travelogue voice telling you about every aspect of the trip. (That is why it was more like being on a friend's yacht). The food was great, lots of fresh fruit and cheeses with a full bar and the ship was seaworthy and as clean as in the Navy (I was once in the Canadian Navy). To conclude, the best part of this cruise experience was the staff and crew: they truly worked hard to make sure you were taken care of in a friendly professional manor: they made sure you found all that you needed to enjoy the trip. It was a relaxing experience. The refletion of the full moon on the water with Manhattan in the background was so beautiful. The captain carefully sailed the ship and made me feel safe.

a big shout out to all that can hear me !! i have just spent a glourious 2 hours watching the setting sky change the colors of the ny skyline and that of our neighbors. in changing your perspective to view our lives from the water with wind in your ears could possibilly make you fall in love with ny all over again. (or each other) it was my birthday and i needed space to "reflect" and that it did. a boat full of happy straingers glad to engage or leave you to your thoughts. the same goes for the smiling, capible mates who not only tended to the need of the sail but to every ones easy going enjoyment as well. offering a glass or two and checking in on your comfort and safety made this safisticated afternoon all the more pleasurable. i have told some one (any one) about this every day since i'm going again next week.

Cruise was outstanding, the scenary is un-matched. The food was adequate. Not,a New York fare. Service, not coordinated. Where others received baskets of pastery it took a request on our part half way through the cruise to be recognized.
Pleasantly surprised Wine Regions of the World Tasting Series Cruise

First off, our group was so lucky to have scored a sunny and warm day in November for our wine cruise - this time of year could have been so much worse. Everything that followed was equally great: the condition of the boat (nicest bathroom on the Hudson!), professionalism of the crew, choice and knowledge of wines, food and general ambience. Also lot sof chacces to take great I LOVE NY pictures. I would recommend this for a couple, a group of friends, something to do with mom and dad, locals and out of towners. Great job and thanks - looking forward to doing it again next year!
Comfy sophistication on board a classic yacht Around Manhattan 'Afternoon Tea' Cruise

The boat itself was lovely and classic, but the added touches of flowers, the runner down the center of floor and the throw pillows added to the overall feel of comfy sophistication. Captain was very personable and relaxed, which again added to that welcoming, comfy air. Servers were friendly and always ready to fulfill requests. This was a charming way to explore the harbor of NYC. Especially appreciated the small number of people; you actually felt like a guest on someone's yacht rather than just another crowded body on board. Food was yummy! Might increase the amount of fruit (although this time of year it gets pricey. Perhaps you can instead increase the amount of nuts????) and add another plate of tea sandwiches for a second serving---just a suggestion. Great job! I have told many folk about our adventure and highly recommended it! Sue Collins

I thoroughly enjoyed this cruise! I loved the Manhattan yacht, the crew was very friendly and cordial, and the views were spectacular. I would definitely take this cruise again and highly recommend it to everyone.

The crew and Wendy were great, very personalble and the setting was intimate. Wendy was very interesting and knowledgable about each wine, the region, etc. We went on 11/7 and the weather was perfect, we even saw the sunset at the end of the cruise. We had 6 in our party to celebrate my brother's birthday. Wendy introduced a new wine every 15 - 20 minutes. The pours were genrous and she came around and offered more. The food pairings were delicious and went perfect with each wine. They gave my brother a small cake with a candle for his birthday and they accomodated the vegetarians in our party. We are definitely planning to do it again. The wines that day were from Portugal.

I went with a few girlfriends and we had a blast! The wines were wonderful and they had a little food to compliment each one--they did not skimp on the food or wine, either! We saw the Statue of Liberty and went through Brooklyn. Very cool!
