Classic Harbor Line

The sunset sail is a beautiful way to see Manhattan in a different way, even for New Yorkers like us. Views were spectacular, boat was comfortable, people were friendly.

This was a great tour. We had beautiful weather, got to see some great buildings, and heard some really cool information about the buildings. My fiancée works in interior design and loves architecture, so I knew she would love this cruise. I figured I'd be bored and lost. However, that wasnt the case at all. The tour guides did a great job pointing out and talking about the buildings on the tour. The map and pictures in the welcome brochure was very helpful too. Everyone received one complimentary glass of wine, champagne, or a beer, and cheese, fruit, and crackers were served. My fiancée and I had a really fun afternoon enjoying a few drinks, the beautiful weather, and the amazing scenery. We would both definitely recommend this cruise. It was a great way to spend the afternoon.

Nice sunday trip for single, couple or whole family. Friendly staff, good food and amazing views of Manhattan.

The boat is very majestic looking, not sure I'll ever be on a three mast sail boat again. You get very close to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. There are great views of Manhattan the entire time. A good selection of beer, which is included in your ticket price.

The boat cruise was amazing. The wine was great to sample and there was plenty, with bottles that could be purchased at the end. The table we sat at was very entertaining compared to some of the others but everyone seemed to be having fun. Also, the boat ride around the city wasn't too short or too long. Overall, it was great and look forward to doing it again.

Everything about the boat cruise around the island of Manhattan was wonderful and that is even with the weather not cooperating for the first 1/2 hour, when there was rain & substantial wind! Even in the begining of the cruise when there was rough water the boat rode very smoothly, and we enjoyed the comfortable seating inside (that has great visibility). When the weather cleared it was fabulous to be on the deck soaking in the sites (and sun, which did come out!). All of the food (multiple courses) was delicious and the crew was friendly, accessible, and knowledgable! The boat is a great size (maybe seats 50 max?) so you are treated like a welcomed guest, rather than a herded tourist (as i have experienced on other "cruises"). It also was refreshingly clean (including the bathrooms (aka "heads"). Would recommend this experience to anyone -- and actually did -- buying the trip as gifts for 6 in the party that i was with (and they also loved it!). We plan to do it again to enjoy one of the other specialty cruises (like the wine tasting / architectural cruise -- and they offer more ...). This is a GREAT gift idea for those hard to buy for people! On top of the great experience, where else in Manhattan can you get a drink, four (i believe) courses of wonderful food, and a cruise in a luxury boat around Manhattan island for the price they charge?!!!

We both thoroughly enjoyed the brunch cruise. It was great to tour around the island and see it from a different vantage point without the crowds. The service and food were great too. We would highly recommend it to all ages!

I surprised my friend for his birthday with a city lights adirondack sailing. This is my second time on board and everyone was very hospitable and made us feel welcome yet again.. We both enjoyed the fact that the sailing did not feel like a tourist thing to do ,such as those huge harbor cruises or things like a double decker bus LOL. The ticket sales staff at the pier were great, They helped me keep my event a surprise and helped me store the cupcakes I purchased ahead of time... They are GREAT people

It was a birthday celebration with family and friends for our 30 year old. It was fun, relaxing, beautiful skyline, and gorgeous weather! The crew was wonderful ....Very engaging and accommodating.....two hours well spent!!! Cheers

Highly recommend this trip for anyone . Relaxing trip of just under three hours with valuable information presented which set the stage for our on ground walking tour . Beautiful boat and great perspective on bridges and buildings. We would probably do it again on our next visit .

Traveled to New York with my wife our first visit took in as many sites as possible, Would definitely put this on top of your to do list if you are planning to visit New York. The views of the New York sky line and in particular the new Freedom Tower (that it is still being built ) from the water are amazing. The Captain and crew of the America 2 were brilliant very friendly and informative, Plus it is not over crowded as it has limited numbers on board for each trip. definitely 10/10 from us

this was a terrific experience...way more than expected. the captain was the best, great people skills we'll do it again.. this time, I want to steer the boat!

Overall, a great experience on the schooner America 2.0. Probably the best way to view the lower half of Manhattan, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. The crew were very relaxed, always smiling and attentive with the drinks. The Captain kept the engine use to mimum which I appreciate, since it is a sailing cruise. I appreciated that although the schooner is described as state-of-the art, the boat is still finished as if it belonged to the past. I do recommend that you have a snack before jumping on the boat, as a few people still waiting to have dinner post cruise can be caught out with a few glasses of wine. We hopefully will make it back at least annually!

I would definitely recommend this sailing trip to basically anyone. The scenery was great, the crew was courteous and attentive, and it was overall a really nice time. The only thing I would probably change or improve is the route that the boat took. It basically went south to the Statue of Liberty and then did a u-turn and came back up to Pier 62. A little bit more scenic variety might have been nice but given the two-hour time frame, I'm not even sure that would be possible. But again, overall, it was a great time.
