fabulous

I'm afraid to say how good this sail is. Many of the people on the boat were from NYC or nearby in NJ. Let's keep this to ourselves. I would be a frequent rider on this boat!

This is an amazing experience for New Yorkers and tourists alike. The Adirondack crew were friendly, professional, and accomodating. We sailed in awful weather (thunderstorms) - it was incredibly romantic to see the Statue of Liberty shrouded in mist and rain while wrapped up in a hooded poncho provided by the crew. It's one of the most memorable city experiences I'll ever have!

A relaxing cruise. A friday afternoon cruise starts the weekend off right. 2hrs just flew by. We will definately take another trip- perhaps a sunset or moonlight cuise. A lovely way to enjoy the NYC view. The crew was really nice as well as the other passengers. We had a wonderful time.

i brought my boyfriend on this sail for his birthday it was wonderful. the ride was so great it was so romantic except for the beer and the rocking of the boat because of the wind, one of the time i thought that the boat was gonna tip over but over all it was great very good the crew was gracious and kind always offering a helping hand. i think that anyone who wants to have a good time which is also romantic should try this sail.

Great night- beautiful boat. Felt like I was on a private charter. Next time I will bring some cheese and crackers to go with the champagne. Perfect length of time (especially with children). My children were blown away by the whole experience, the boat ride, the Statue of Liberty, everything. We will be making this a summer tradition.

We were lucky enough to have strong winds and tons of sun. Although we listed dramatically, no one in our group felt seasick. The crew was friendly and knowledgable. Our cruise was pretty crowded (25+ people) but we barely noticed. After living in NYC for 12 years I would put this activity in my Top 3 fun things to do in the city.

My friends enjoyed every minute of it. The wine and the food was good. It was like a private gathering of family and friends given the size of the crowd. Highly recommended.

Amazing food, boat, crew and sights!

This is the 3rd brunch cruise I have taken aboard the Manhattan, and every one has been better than the previous. The food keeps getting tastier, the boat is always beautiful, and the crew just gets better and better. I took my girlfriend, who had never been on the boat before, and afterward she raved to all her friends about it . (Yes, some well earned points for me!) I have to say that as much as I love the food each time, it's the incredibly unique view you get of Manhattan and its landscape that has me keep coming back. Lots of people have been on the water near the Statue of Liberty or the Brooklyn Bridge of South Street Seaport, but only on this boat have I ever been on the Harlem River and really gotten to understand the landscape at Manhattan's northern tip, when it's just a couple hundred feet from the Bronx. We even got to see both Yankee Stadiums - the old and the new - which had all the sports fans running out to snap photos! Getting to go around the entire island, from the Hudson to the East River to the Harlem River, and back down to Chelsea Piers, gave us a great feel for the whole city. The day we went it was only in the 30s outside, but the way the boat is laid out with all the glass windows, we were able to take in all the sights while staying warm and enjoying the brunch. All in all, a fantastic trip and I'm sure I'll be back for many more.

Best of New York from the Water

my friends and I (two adults from LA, 2 adults from DC and 2 NYC locals) took the motor yacht on a Sunday afternoon. We completely lucked out with a dry sky after a weekend of rain, rain, rain. The boat was new and quite spiffy - really attractive vessel. The crew was super positive and laid back. We enjoyed the champagne and some great city scenery.

The bartender

There was one incident that had a negative effect on the trip: My cousin ordered a Bloody Mary. There was so much pepper in it that he almost chocked. I assured him that he would get another drink or that the bartender would alter it to a drinkable version. Please note I live in New York, and I was so sure that there would be no problem. After all, this was a de luxe cruise. However, the bartender threw the drink out and in a very surly voice informed my cousin that he would have to pay for another drink. It wasn't a question of money, it was a question of the bartender's attitude. It really bothered me because I had told them how generous Americans are, and it was not a question of getting a free drink. it was only a question of getting a DRINKABLE DRINK.

it was my boyfriend's first time in NY and I wanted to make it as special as possible and this trip was a great way to do it. The weather wasn't the most ideal for a sunset boat ride but the crew provided blankets to those who wanted to sit outside to get a better view. I would definitely want to do it again to actually see the sunset and i think it would be more than worth going again. we had a great time!!!

Delightful 1 1/2 hour cruise.on the Manhattan

Took the tour to see the WATERFALLS and was very pleased. Would have appreciated more identification of buildings and areas we were passing either by the crew ---- or better still a map or chart with specific names of buildings, etc. (The book Manhattan is much too general).
