Classic Harbor Line

Seeing this city from this view was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! I would high recommend this cruise to anyone visiting the NY area. It was my birthday and I wanted to do something special and this definitely filled the bill.

Had a great time on this sail. Complimentary beer and soda, great crew, great views, and great all around experience. Highly recommended for people of all ages. So nice and relaxing. Would love to do it again at some point. And at $45 you can't beat the price!!!

Very friendly and knowledgeable crew. Complimentary microbrewed beer from NY was a plus. Would recommend!

We left too late to see the sunset. Granted, the colors from the sun setting was gorgeous, we missed the actual sunset. Overall however I would definitely recomment this to everyone. Great views of the City. Great crew!!

What a magical, peaceful way to fall in love with New York all over again. Within minutes of motoring out from the harbor, the quiet descends upon you and the rush of the subway drifts away. My group took the sunset sail and I couldn't recommend it more highly. The crew are lovely, extremely friendly and professional. And the views were just spectacular. I'm looking forward to taking another group of friends out again soon. For a really special night out, I'd highly recommend it. Bring snacks!

Sail boat went out in windy 50 degree weather with rain calleed for. It was very cold (my wife had 3 blankets) and started raining very hard . The crew, who was very good, passed out rain parkas. Needless to say we were very cold and wet when we landed at the appointed time. There was no place to get out of the rain other than where they were storing blankets and rain parkas. The boat did not come back early because of the weather. It was a miserable trip and should have been called off due to the weather.

Couldn't be happier with our choice to sail with the America 2.0. The captain and crew were outstanding, deftly managing the schooner and attending to onboard guests with competence, friendliness, and hospitality. The captain invited our grandson to "steer" the ship for a while, and one of the crew taught him the "sailor's cuff" knot, which thrilled him. It was so relaxing to just sit back, relax, and take in the sights of the harbor -- without any touristy "yapping." We LOVED it, and we highly recommend this outing. It's not that much more than the other "big boat" harbor tours, and so much better, way worth the few extra.dollars. Won't hesitate to book again on our next visit to NYC.

I had been wanting to go out for a sail for quite some time and luckily, being spur of the moment, my husband went online to find the Adirondack ready and waiting the day before our sail, which we booked for Labor Day, 2008. The weather on Labor Day was just beautiful, a bit of wind. The boat was full. Our crew was very pleasant. The captain was entertaining and provided a safe ride. We took my parents along who also enjoyed the beautiful scenery and terrific weather. Our mate, Pat was eager to please. He was able to give us some history of the the harbor and the boat and it turns out I have sailed her before in Newport, RI. In fact we visit Newport most summers and sail the Adirondack II sunset cruise. Six years ago we chartered her and the Rum Runner for our wedding which was a huge hit with our guests. We couldn't have enjoyed the sail of the NY Harbor more and will recommend it to our friends. I am sure we will book another sail next season. Easy choice when your boyfriend loves the water, boats and sunsets. The crew was amazing, the ride was beautiful, the evening could not have been more perfect. Would do this again in a heartbeat!

Promotion seemed to say that appetizers would be served. We didn't see any. But that's a minor complaint since we had a great time anyway.

It was not too crowded... great service by staff.

I was on the boat 5 days before the hurricane , the winds were great! The crew did a wonderful job of taking care of the guest. Highly recommend
