Too cold, not much foliage, great crew!

| I took the 2 hour sail boat cruise in the summer and enjoyed it. So I signed up for the Fall foliage cruise. I expected that we may be getting off the boat and doing some leaf peaking, but that didnt happen. The foliage was nothing special and we were too far from the palisades anyway to get good views It was too cold, and therefore too long and I wanted to get off halfway if I could have.The water splashing in on us didnt help, since we were frozen to the bone anyway. The sailing itself though was great, the captain was very good and the crew was gracious and friendly. The light lunch was nice as was the cider. But next time, I will stick with the 2 hour summer cruise! | ||||||

| It was our second trip and it was fabulous. It was a chilly fall day and the leaves were beautiful. It was warm inside the cabin of the motoryacht and the brunch was delicious while we sailed up the Hudson. We're planning our next trip. | ||||||

| It certainly wasn't anybody's fault that it ended up being extremely blustery and chilly, and therefore a terrible day for a sail. It also fell short of being a nice "fall foliage" sail, as none of the trees had changed yet. But for a 4-hour cruise, I had expected that we'd sail further up the Hudson (where I imagine there was more foliage). We only made it just past the George Wash bridge (big whoop). I also thought it'd be a more "exciting" sail (read: fast), but we just plodded along (the Circle Line goes faster). On the plus side, the (surprisingly young) crew were very friendly and attentive, and served a tasty lunch and many rounds of hot cider (we sure needed it!). For me, the experience didn't justify the price. I made the mistake of buying tickets weeks in advance, thinking they'd sell out. There were still tickets left when we showed up in the morning. If we could have gotten a refund before setting sail, we would have. | ||||||

| Next time there is a Nor’easter I wouldn't recommend sailing. My fiancé and I are not wimps but we did not enjoy this trip it was way too windy and cold. There wasn't really much change to the trees so that was also a bit disappointing. The food was very good, the staff was very nice. The weather just didn't make for a good trip over all. It's too bad because we were really excited about going, and I paid a lot of money for it. | ||||||

| I went on this trip with a small group of friends and my wife. The weather was great; the crew very professional, friendly and informative; the lunch was tasty; and the service impressive (especially navigating the deck with out loosing their balance). Of course the schooner itself was beautiful. | ||||||

| We booked a trip for our anniversary. We called ahead on our way out the door to clarify directions and the man said that the cruise had been cancelled for awhile now. He said that it was because another group had cancelled. We were very upset (given it was our anniversary). Thank you, Ashley Newberry | ||||||

| Everything was perfect (the boat - the crew - the brunch). We were a group of 15 people from Switzerland and I can say that all of us enjoyed the Cruise. The objective was to celebrate an important event by doing something special in Manhattan. We will keep amazing memories. I srtongly recommand this activity. Really good value. | My girlfriend and I took this brunch cruise as part of our 1 1/2 year anniversary celebration. I was very nervous about a number of factors when I booked the cruise (what if the ship is too crowded, weather , food quality, etc), but it wound up being a wonderful afternoon. My girlfriend was very surprised and I won major brownie points, so it worked out better than anticipated. Our cruise took us south to the statue and then back up the Hudson to arround the Tappan Zee to take in the last of the Fall foilage. The sights were quite pretty, the food tasty, the yacht GORGEOUS and the crew and other passengers were a delight. There were about 20 passengers total on our cruise, which felt like an appropriate crowd for the size of the yacht. Everyone got along very well, but you can socialize or not as you like. the ship is big enough to allow for some more intimate "alone time" but small enough to bring people together too. I highly recommend a brunch cruise on The Manhattan, whether you're visiting and want to learn more about NYC or just need a break from the city life, as we did. | ||||||

| Most part it was a real wonderful and a different adventure. The staff on the cruise as well as everyone was really nice. We got there about 15 min late due to the traffic but it was really nice of them to wait for us. We really appreciate it what they did for us and the trip surely was worth it. Surely must do 100% if you want to have a nice time and have the feel and sense of new york from being out and not being on the streets of new york. Ttruly wonderful.!!!!!! | ||||||

| The trip was on the NYC website as recommened and we thought, as it was our first day in the city, we'd start with something quite leisurely... The whole trip was fantastic from start to finish - from the initial welcome we received from the crew, to the minute we disembarked over 3 hours later. Describing it as a simple brunch was an understatement - the variety and quality of the food was superb - you could litterally eat and drink for the whole 3 hours if you wished! The guide books that were available on board were very informative and gave a yard by yard description of the view. We could not recommend this trip highly enough - 5 star | ||||||
