The part of the tour we enjoyed the most was going through the narrow parts in the Bronx - areas that we had never been to in all the 50+ years we have all lived here. Great new views of the old and new buildings from the water. Professional commentary was non-stop, personnel most polite and drinks and snacks a nice plus. The Manhattan is a lovely boat. Thank you.

It was a perfectly gorgeous early fall day. The staff was friendly and helpful. The amenities were many with a lovely buffet provided. But those were just the icing on a delicious cake. The amount of information offered by the two guides was prodigious and delightfully offered. I have already heartily recommended this trip to a number of friends whom I am sure will be passengers soon.

Very interesting and educational. A bit fast-paced, but the guides did the best they could -- the boat travels quickly. They seemed quite knowledgeable, although I did not know all of the architectural terms they used. Still, I think I was able to find at least 90% of what they pointed to and understand most of what they were saying. The free drinks and snacks were a pleasant surprise. I must have missed that when I bought my tickets; I was not expecting anything to be free. It helped that we had a glorious day -- 72 degrees and sunny. Might have been less pleasant on a gloomy or rainy day. Still, it was easy to follow the tour from inside the boat, and it was easy to move from indoors to outdoors, which I did frequently. Well worth it, if you can afford it.

A guided commentary by one of New Yorks leading architects made this a fascinating and informative tour. The trip was a lovely 3 hour circumnavigation of manhattan island and was entirely enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour.

The historic photos of New York City lull the onlooker into a time machine where the past - its great civic projects, its panoramas, its neighborhoods, and its neighbors - collide with our sense of the present. Who are these people? How did that bridge get built? What happened to that neighborhood? In a city so dramatically invested in movement and change, to stop even just for a moment and visually ponder the past through the lens of history forces the viewer to take a deep breath - silent and motionless. It's a wonder and a confrontation that there was actually something so different here not that long ago.

My wife and I entertained a U.S. woman who lives in Shanghai and has developed an interest in architecture, and she and we were fascinated (on that weather-perfect Monday) by the developing New York building landscape. The guide served the purpose admirably. Heard about the tour from the NY Times. Hope to do this again in 3-4 years.

This was a very nice evening. The timing of the sunset at the liberty statue was perfect. The cruise staff was friendly and offered sponteneously to take picture of us at the right spots. This cruise should be recommended to everyone who like to feel special as the Manhattan boat is NOT a massive boat with a large crowd and is getting close to the statue. Note that we had the chance of a good weather. With a bad weather all cruise experiences would feel different. But weather is not the responsibility of the cruise company!

We had a wonderful time on the cruise. 90 mins was just right to see all the sights. The jazz band was excellent. The boat had a great atmosphere but wasnt too crowded. Would definitely recommend this for any tourist.

Being on the water, especially seated outside on the foredeck, while still being able to take advantage of the interesting and informative narration by the two knowledgeable architects, made the trip one of the most enjoyable things I've done in 20 years in New York City. I will (we will) take the tour again and again. It's just so much fun.

Worth the cost. Took my boyfriend out for his 33 on a birthday. This cruise was our second stop and he loved it. Cozi, romantic, beautiful boat. He hates mushy overly romantic but he lived this!!!!

What a wonderful way to explore the City, whether you are a tourist or a local. We found it to be a very romantic and relaxing cruise and the crew was wonderful.

The Sunset Sail on the America 2.0 is a delightful river cruise by the Statue of Liberty and a superb view of the city lights and nighttime skyline. Highly recommended!
