Classic Harbor Line

my mother visits every year from CA, and i always try to find something special that's also something i've never done (and i've lived here for 20+ years). this year she brought my 93 year old grandmother. they both can't stop talking about how wonderful, special and fun this cruise was.

As visitors to NY we did enjoy the cruise. We were pleased it was a smaller group. Perhaps there could have been more individual snacks as it was good to have the complimentary coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful. In booking the tickets with a gift voucher we had some hassles and there were a series of emails back & forth which I feel could have been simplified. When I originally phoned from Australia to book I spoke to Capt Sarah who assured me that we were booked and only had to trun up at the boat, only to receive an email once in NY to say if we did not contact we would not have bookings(there had to be a ticket number issued - surely the certificate code no. would have been adequate). Having left our booking details at home we were impressed with the way our lack of documentation was dealt with. The crew of the Adirondack were very friendly and welcome and oozed experience. We had a wonderful evening sail in glorious weather down the Hudson River to the Statue of Liberty and back, trying to avoid the yachts from the Manhattan saiilng club which were racing. As experienced sailors and wooden boat-builders ourselves, it was a treat to be on this lovely vessel and watch and feel her sail. It was a lovely way to enjoy Manhatten with the setting sun refelected back from a myriad of windows and glass buildings. Non-experienced passengers seemed to feel safe although they were not quite as prepared for the evening chill as the sun went down. But the crew were ready with blankets and champagne! Thank you all at Zerve and the crew.

My girlfriend and i truly enjoyed this activity. The sunset sail is a very romantic and beautiful outdoor activity to do in the city. Highly recommended!!

The boat was great, but my boyfriend and I bought tickets for a sunset sail cruise and we docked before the sun set. I also think that the view on the west side of Manhattan was not as spectacular as I'd hoped. There are other sail boats that go around lower Manhattan, under the Brooklyn Bridget, and I would recommend that instead.

I took my date on this based on the previous reviews since I wanted to do something different. So glad I did, as the crew was terriffic and the boat was very comfortable. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in doing something out of the ordinary.

My wife and I took our 3 adult children and one spouse to NYC in MAY as a Christmas Gift. They planned all aspects within a set budget. But for my wife and myself, I scheduled a Saturday evening cruise that was perfect. The crew was very courtious and the views of New York City from the sail boat were fantastic. We were right up next to the Statue of Liberty. When we were in full sail, with the Miss Liberty behind us, we became the most photographed boat by other tourists on other boats. This was a sunset cruise so the sunset and breeze were very nice. I am sure our kids will take that same cruise when they go out to NEW YORK CITY on their own.

A group of 10 of us went on the sunset sail for my sister's bachelorette party. The staff was super nice, and the ride was very relaxing. It gave everyone a chance to catch up and take pictures....a really nice time! Thank you!

THE BOAT WAS IN GREAT SHAPE, THE CREW WAS VERY ATTENTIVE AND THE CAPTAIN WAS VERY INFORMATIVE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS CRUISE TO ANYONE.

Sunset sail was nice. If I did it again I would take the later one so that you can see the city lit up. I was hoping to see the Brooklyn Bridge but we only went by the Statue of Liberty. Over all though, great time! Wear a jacket!

It was a beautiful trip. It was very relaxing after the hectic pace of sightseeing we had done. The crew was great and friendly although I would have liked a little more information on the areas we were passing. My entire family just loved the trip -- myself and my husband and 4 adult children. It was not crowded like a lot of other tourist activities and the price (with several drinks) was very reasonable. I'm glad we decided on this particular boat trip. Thanks to all !!

Had a great time. Best part was most of us seeing the Statue of Liberty up close for the first time. Kids were allowed to get behind wheel. Very pleasant day.

A group of close family decided that a local cruise around Manhattan would be a perfect way to celebrate our Mom's 80th and suggested the brunch cruise to our Dad. We actually underestimated how perfect it would be! Every detail of our trip -- from the stunning boat to the top-notch service and lovely crew -- especially wonderful David -- to the yummy and copious (and well-paced!) food -- exceeded our expectations. We could not have wished for a more elegant and intimate experience for our family. We had the entire back section of the boat to ourselves, complete with a big comfortable table upon which to set all of our food and drinks, as our "home base: from which we could venture outside into the open air. The captain (who looked all of 20 years old) was also a friendly and lovely youg man who allowed us to lie about, trying not to block his view! Because of the cozy atmosphere, we also interacted with tmany of the other passengers, often celebrating their own special occasions. We have already recommended this cruise to many friends as an ideal way to mark any occasion or show foreign friends the City in the most upscale and most memorable possible way. You receive more than your money's worth and will want to come back again for another special day.
