Classic Harbor Line

Captain Andy provided us with a great sail on a gorgeous evening. We watched the sun set behind the Statue of Liberty.

Traveled to New York with my wife our first visit took in as many sites as possible, Would definitely put this on top of your to do list if you are planning to visit New York. The views of the New York sky line and in particular the new Freedom Tower (that it is still being built ) from the water are amazing. The Captain and crew of the America 2 were brilliant very friendly and informative, Plus it is not over crowded as it has limited numbers on board for each trip. definitely 10/10 from us

Perfect venue for a date. Captain and crew were very friendly and welcoming. I love sail boats and loved the 2 hr mini cruise. I would definitely take a sail boat out next time but you should be aware in this type of boat there is no protection from the sun.

This was a very good sailing experience. Sailing on a schooner in the harbor couldn't get any better.

This was an awesome experience! The boat is beautiful, the crew was attentive to everyone, the captain was great and the sights were spectacular. The best chartered sail I've ever had!

Very pleased, the crew members were all very professional and friendly and the guide knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The boat was a nice size, small(but not cramped) and cozy. The snacks where plentifully but the website was not clear so I pre-ordered a cheese plate but that was not necessary. Very nice way to send time in the City.

The day sail on the Schooner America 2.0 was delightful. Sailing passed lower Manhattan, the World Trade Center, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty was a highlight of this excursion. I highly recommend it!

I would highly recommend this outing. Wonderful view of the NYC skyline. The crew was very nice and capable. Great way to spend an afternoon!

We really enjoyed the boat ride tour and have already recommended it to friends. The architect guide was very expert and had great info. But when I had called to sign up, I had been told (without my asking!) that it was not usually good for kids under 18, and that people who want to talk are asked to speak softly or go outside so all can hear the guide. It ended up that almost everyone was talking, we told the guide we couldn't hear him and asked him to make an announcement re the noise -- and his announcement was not forceful. We ended up having to "police" the situation ourselves, asking at least 4 groups to go outside to talk. Further, there were 2 young children, who basically were extremely well-behaved -- but after 90 minutes (this tour is almost 3 hours), became understandably restless. They ran around and their grandfather let them play a radio despite our telling him we could not hear the guide with the radio on. At the end of the trip we told the guide about our pleasure with the info but our displeasure with the lack of compliance to the "rules" -- and he told us he had not been told about those rules himself. He also said that we could have gone outside and still heard him on a speaker, which we did not know. One more thing -- the snacks were excellent: fruit, cheese, and a nice bread/cake.

Lovely boat, worthwhile commentary, welcome refreshments. A little slow along the Harlem River, a little rushed rounding the Battery, with so many buildings and other features to describe, but all in all a great day and a good value.

The boat was fabulous and the crew was just terrific. Captain Joe and his crew made the trip better than imagined. Of course, the weather was in our favor but everyone in our group came off the boat wondering why they hadn't sailed the Harbor with your organization before. Glorious is another word we'd use.

I arranged the cruise for a group of friends visiting from Italy and I don't think I could have made a better choice. I chose this cruise after comparing it to many other cruises. The service was not only personal but personable. The crew was friendly and always accommodating. The boat itself had lots of character. It was clean, with ample comfortable space to be both inside, where it was air conditioned or out on deck to enjoy a beautiful sunny day. The narration was informative, offering lots of information. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone looking for a great way to see and enjoy New York.

If you're looking for a different way to experience Manhattan, whether you're a local or a tourist, this City Harbor boat ride, especially with the 3 jazz musicians, is delightful. During the 1hr.30min. trip, you get to see Lady Liberty, then go under the 3 bridges on the East River, & then back close to the lower Manhattan skyline. This trip at sunset is especially lovely.
