| My boyfriend and I sailed aboard the Adirondack for the Sunset Sail on Sunday, June 21, 2009. The boat was a beautiful yacht and the staff was very pleasant. We were provided drinks and were able to pack a light snack. My only complaint was that it began raining before we took off and because a windy storm came about while we were in route to the Statue of Liberty, we had to turn around. We got drenched! We were provided raincoats but the wind and rain was a little harsh. I was a little disappointed that we were not refunded the price of our ticket and/or provided with a new one for a sail on a later date. We traveled from Columbus, Ohio and were visiting NYC for the week - so it would have been feasible to take another sail. No attempts to provide us with this opportunity were made. Otherwise, I think it would have been a beautiful time:) | ||||||

| The schooner trip was great fun, and excellent value for money considering we were on the boat for two hours. The crew were good fun, and were really attentive making sure that everyone was doing ok. We had considered doing a helicopter tour, which would have been just 20 minutes and was quite expensive, so I think we made the right decision, as sailing along the Hudson river for two hours, and seeing the sun setting across the city in relaxed surroundings was pretty cool! | ||||||

| This cruise was a special treat from start to finish. The ship was beautiful and well maintained; the cruise staff was helpful and friendly; the hor d'oerves were tastefully done and of course, the view was spectacular! We would definitely do this again! | ||||||

| Everything ran smoothly from first to last. The trip boarded and left on time. The moon was as big and orange as a huge cheddar cheese. The drinks were served; the sails were raised and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this quiet, lovely sail up to Miss Liberty and back. A good time was had by all. | ||||||

| Very professionally operated, and supportive and friendly and competent service. No "music" , distracting noise or commentary, just a great sail out to the Statue and back. Worth every penny. I would highly recommend this to anyone either local or travelling. | ||||||

| I bought 2 tickets for the Around Manhattan Brunch Cruise as a gift to my husband for his 67th birthday. It's a 3 hour trip to Manhattan from our home in Pennsylvania. We got there early so we could explore Chelsea Pier and we were so glad we did. There is so much to see and do there! We got to our pier early and were so pleased that everyone associated with the Cruise, from the lady who took our eTicket to the Captain of that beautiful yacht, was exceptionally pleasant; very friendly and accomodating. The Captain casually pointed out points of interest as we cruised around Manhattan with about 30 other people of all ages. It was a glorious day so we were able to be outside on deck, with the wind whipping through our hair as we sipped our cocktails and enjoyed the delicious food that was so artfully presented. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his cruise (and had something to rave about on the golf course for a whole week after he came home!). We couldn't have been more pleased and would recommend this cruise to any one of any age. | ||||||

| My fiance and I went on the sailboat with the impression we were going on this romantic tour of the city seeing all these different sights. Unfortunately, it was not at all like that. 1. the captain didn't say one word or explain where we were the WHOLE time 2. we went to the statue of liberty turned around and came back 3. we didnt even go near the Brooklyn bridge or anything else it explained we would do in the packet I think I wasted my money and I am very upset. | Great date, nice and quiet when sailing past the statue of liberty. Beautiful view of the city and you get three glasses of wine, which if you went to a bar for would cost thirty bucks, so it's really like a 20 dollar activity. Highly advised. | ||||||

| We had a wonderful sail, and the crew couldn't have been more helpful, answering all our questions. It's not a "guided tour"; If you expect that, this isn't the cruise for you. If you want to be on the water on a sailboat with a crew that will tell you anything you want to know, this is it! My only regret is that I believed the weather forecast (rainy) and I didn't bring hats. Of course, it was sunny and warm the whole time! None the less, we had a great time, but when we do it again, we'll be better prepared. | ||||||
