Sunset cruise is the best way to show out of town friends the city from the water. Great impressions, friendly staff, carefully delivered. Excellent experience.

As a resident, I thought I had seen NYC in every possible way.... but the City Lights nightime cruise was simply breathtaking!! The crew was perfectly polite, knowledgable, and accomodating... not to mention their great sense of humor. As it was a chilly night, the soft, clean blankets they provided were perfect for snuggling up to your sweetheart. Very relaxing and peaceful.... the pefect way to end the day!

Sunset Sail on the Schooner Imagine

An often overlooked escape that offers an out of the ordinary view of Manhattan. Highly recommended for an intimate date excursion, and equally charming as a group activity, this two hour sail is the perfect afternoon or evening diversion. Great as a precursor to a night out, or sets a romantic stage for a night in!

Best of Both Day / Night Cruise
Sun, Sep 16, 07   6:30 PM rajsukhai Male 30-39 Local Group of Friends
I liked the 6:30 cruise in the fall at this time of the year, because of the sun set time. You start the cruise with full day light and end with an evening night cruise and get to enjoy the night lights of the city. It's the best of boat day & night cruises combined in one. I previously used your cruise in July 2:30PM and enjoyed that, but really liked the difference this time of the night lights of the city.

I recenlty moved to Manhattan and have done so many "tourist" activities around the city each visit. I took my boyfriend on the sunset sail and we had the most wonderful time. The Captain and Crew were very enjoyable, we got to tak a lot of pictures, and sailed around for 2 hours. It was beautiful!

What a great trip! The sunset, seen from the Hudson and the New York Bay is simply incomparably romantic. Captain and crew were the nicest and most heplful. Extraordinary service - they served beverages, including champagne, the entire 2 hours we were on board. The even let you lift the sail! My date and I are highly enthusiastic and greatful. Thanks!

I first found out about Schooner Adirondack a few years ago and decided to go this past Sunday with my boyfriend. He was impressed! We had a lovely time, holding each other, looking at the sunset and the beauty of NYC. Overall the trip was very romantic and the crew was very warm and helpful. I wish I had done it earlier.

The Adirondack is a great way to see New York in all of its beauty. As you pass the Statue of Liberty, you can only imagine what the American ancestors felt as they spotted this beautiful lady.

A Surpringly Plesant Experience Around NYC Waters

Wow! It was more than what we anticipated initially, was simply amazing to take a full three hours of cruise on a decent (term "luxury" would be misnomer) yatch. It was wonderful day of summer, as sunny as possible and was getting tolerably breezier minute by minute. As the day progressed the tour became more exciting - courtesy awesome weather, can not ask for more. A few point which we have noticed worth mentioning are: #1: The hosts were quite courteous and polite. They all welcomed us very warmly as their special guests as we boarded the ship and ship departed just on time. So be punctual, if you don't want to miss the boat. #2: The boat seemingly was a bit small to accommodate comfortably a group of thirty plus revelers (adults and kids together). It was clean, decorated and well arranaged. It had nice red color rug which lent the ship so called quality of luxury. The seats should be cozier, I guess. #3: The tour guide who happened to be our vessel operator was quite soft spoken, and informative but I personally felt that she needed to be a bit more elaborative about the rich history of the bridges as we passed under more than two dozen bridges in the 3 hours trip. #3: The quantity of the food was more than enough and it was being replenished as and when required. #4: Quality and variety of the food, I would say, needs facelift as there is a reasonable room for improvement there. As it was a brunch, it should have more items which should make one feel that it's really a filling the appetite. #5: For vegetarian folks, it will be barely enough to have it and feel like you have had a real solid brunch though there is enough of fruit salad if you can satiate yourself only with fruit servings and variety of juices. #6: In spite of calm waters, the boat rocked a few times, tumbling the glassware off the tables, but the staff personals at the ship were prompt to clean the mess so that the guest can enjoy their time to the fullest. Now comes the most important part of ranking the whole experience. I would rate it 7 out of 10.It's definitely worth taking this ride circumnavigating island of Manhattan with your near and dear ones specially if you are a tourist and wants to see the island in the shortest time. I'll take another one when they better the whole paraphernalia to take this experience to another level or two higher. Bon Voyage M&S
