Classic Harbor Line

My wife and I booked the Sunset Sail and it exceeded our expectations. The Adirondack was immaculate and well maintained, it's captain and crew were knowledgable and friendly and the sailing was wonderful. We had perfect sailing weather, a beautiful sunset and thoroughly enjoyed every minute on board. We have already highly recommended this event to others and will continue to do so. Worth every penny!!

Wonderful tour around the harbour and the statue of liberty! The staff was very friendly and offered to take pictures in front of the statue. They also served one free drink. Since the boat was'nt full there were plenty of room both outside and inside. The captain gave interesting information about the sights we passed on our way. The trip was one of the higlights during our 6 day stay in NY. Highly recommended!

Had a very nice time with family from out of town. The ride really showcased the city from the water, where you get the best view. The captain and crew were very knowledgeable.

Great crew (friendly & helpful), a relatively intimate setting, not crowded, able to get a little old lady with a walker on & off the boat without difficulty, and a place to comfortably sit inside, should one seek respite from the elements. And the glass of sparkling wine from America's oldest winery was scrumptious.

A different and exciting way to explore Manhattan by a boat in a very chill athmosphere - Highly recommended

We loved our cruise, but we were disappointed the PA system didn't work better on the outside deck. Once the boat picked up speed and we were in the open water in NY harbor, we couldn't hear the narrator while we were outside. This meant that for most of the boat ride, we had a choice of sitting inside, where we could hear the narration, or sitting outside to soak up the sun and the surf, but not being able to hear the narration. The staff tried to fix the problem, and was apologetic. They even gave all of the passengers a coupon for $25 off on a future ride, but it was still disappointing. Otherwise, the ride was great. The crew was helpful, and the buffet they put out was nice.

Our group included architects and people familiar with the architecture of the City. We had read and heard enthusiastic descriptions of the tour and I expected a knowledgeable, professional guide. Ours was not; she did not use correct architectural terms, seemed to know little or nothing about the history of many areas and buildings and was simply inadequate for the task. The boat and crew are terrific, but I strongly recommend a better trained guide to maintain your good reputation.

we always take first time guests of ours in New York City on a river cruise to get great views of the city. This sunset cruise makes it extra special not only because of the time of the day but also because of the beatiful old boat and the limited number of guests on it. Service on board could be a little better (more actively at the table instead of having to walk to the bar to order).

My wonderful wife took me on this trip for my birthday. I work in manhattan and constantly watch the sunrise, I always tell her how beautiful it is and how I wish we could see with it together. We have 3 small children and this wouldn't be an easy task. She did her research and based on the already good reviews this business had received made her decision. I had an amazing time with her and got to enjoy the sunset for the first time. The time spent on the boat was great and it seemed to fly. I give this boat and its crew the best possible rating they can get.

I couldn't think of a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon in New York City! . . . Sun, breeze, water, and knowledge - wrapped up in such a way that you don't even realise how much Professor John Kriskiewicz has taught you - until you're off the boat and tell your friends at Sunday brunch how you spent Saturday afternoon!

A perfect way to spend a sunny NYC afternoon, and an ideal way to obtain a useful perspective on the city's infrastructure. Our guide was both knowledgeable and personable. Fresh air, knowledge, and perspective: who could ask for more?

I highly recommend this tour. It was relaxing and beautiful. We plan on doing this again the next time we visit NYC. The food and staff were great. Well worth the money!

A nice three hour cruise, weather permitting. The food was plentiful and the quality was good. Pleasant service from the crew. All together, a very clean boat with hosptable service and an interesting perspective of the island. Parking was very convenient.

The Manhattan was glistening in the early evening sun. We were welcomed aboard and given a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. The captain was knowledgeable as were his crew and his commentary tinged with humour made for a relaxing and comfortable time aboard. Luckily for us the evening weather was perfect and the sunset spectacular as we passed the Statue of Liberty. All in all a must do in NYC.

The sail was lovely! A bit windy going downriver, but delightful and quiet once we got out into the harbor. Great views of the Statue of Liberty and lower Manhattan! Jersey City looked nice in front of the sunset, as well. The crew was kind, able, and knowledgeable.
