Classic Harbor Line

I have sailed with this company 3 times now, and it is always a wonderful experience. This time I took my parents from Kansas on board as a surprise. What a great way to tour Manhattan and point out the landmarks--from outside the city! The wind was so strong on our sail that we got all the way down to Staten island, twice as far as I have been before! The crew is always very nice and helpful to answer questions, and serve champagne etc...! I highly recommend this experience--especially for visitors who seek a relaxing way to 'tour' a bustling city.

The sail was awesome, perfect day and the captain and crew were very professional, easy going and informative with any questions we had. Definetly will recommend to family and friends. THANK YOU!

This was an awesome experience! The boat is beautiful, the crew was attentive to everyone, the captain was great and the sights were spectacular. The best chartered sail I've ever had!

I booked myself and my Mum on the afternoon sail and I would highly reccomend this to all visitors to NYC during the summer months. It is a great way to see all of the sites whilst enjoying sailing on a great boat and the cool breeze from the river. The crew were all friendly and the atmosphere relaxed and chilled - it is certainly the best way to see the statue of liberty!

My daughter and I were looking for something different to do, and we made a wonderful decision choosing an afternoon sail on the Adirondack! Not only was the weather wonderful, the wind ideal, the crew extremely accomodating, but the purchased (onboard) wine was yummy, and the views and sights of NYC were truly exquisite. Would highly recommended it for tourists visiting and locals alike!

great fun. great crew. would like maybe next time to take a tour with a little more introduction to the buildings and history but i think that's available on another version of the sailing.

Very pleased, the crew members were all very professional and friendly and the guide knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The boat was a nice size, small(but not cramped) and cozy. The snacks where plentifully but the website was not clear so I pre-ordered a cheese plate but that was not necessary. Very nice way to send time in the City.

It met all our expectations for a fine summer afternoon cruise. We so enjoyed the lecture on infrastructure. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable. He moved nicely between lecture and responding to queries. The staff was friendly and the service was as good as it could be considering the wave action in the rivers. The complimentary cheese and fruit spread was fresh and plentiful. A delightful tour that I will recommend to others.

Enjoyed the trip very much. We had wonderful weather, and the narration was interesting- even our 15 yr old was engaged. A big note- the website gives the impression that there's no food, and offers a cheese plate. In fact, a nice snack spread is included with the ticket (and the first drink!) So skip that, you can always order a la carte if you want more.

The day sail on the Schooner America 2.0 was delightful. Sailing passed lower Manhattan, the World Trade Center, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty was a highlight of this excursion. I highly recommend it!

We all really enjoyed the trip. We sailed out to the Statue of Liberty and then up to the Brooklyn Bridge. The views of the Statue of Liberty and especially Manhattan are excellent. We also enjoyed the free beer and beverages. The staff were professional and nice. Overall - a great experience!

I've visited NYC many times and "seen the sights" but this was hands down the best experience I've had. It is not touristy at all and worth every penny. The staff was great, my friends and I got to try three local beers we had never tried before and we enjoyed every minute of it. I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone!

I have taken several trips on the Schooner Adirondack which have included a solo journey, entertaining out-of-town guests and most recently, the Full Moon Sail with my boyfriend. Each sail has been uniquely memorable, but the Full Moon Sail was a particularly lovely and peaceful experience. The setting and mood really do set the tone, even with our group where there were a few well-behaved bachelorette party members in attendance. Locals shouldn't worry that this is a tourist-trap booze cruise. It's not! It's a refuge from the hustle and bustle without even leaving the island of Manhattan. When you dock, be sure to check out the equally tranquil Chelsea Piers Park.

We went during a full moon. It was a very nice night out and the ride was smooth. Very Romantic. We are definitely going to go again (and invite some friends)

We went on a Friday night as group of 7 for a bachelorette party. We had a fantastic time. The views of the city lights at night were awesome and we sailed fairly close to the Statue of Liberty. The crew was very friendly and accommodating to our group. We were well served in regards to champagne and wine. We were able to get a coupon code simply by calling the office and inquiring about a discount since we had a larger group. Overall, we had such a great time. It was a great way to start off our first night in the big city.
