| This was a surprise birthday excursion with a friend and we had a blast. The cruise wasn't fully booked so there was room on the schooner to spread out. The crew was capable and friendly. They made sure we had whatever we wanted to drink. Captain Kat was a delight from the moment she greeted us with her enthusiastic invitation "Let's go sailing!" The schooner was beautiful. It was so cool having conventional tour boats pass us and see lots of their passengers taking photos of us. We motored north to the George Washington Bridge, then caught enough wind to actually sail the rest of the journey. Watching the crew and captain handle the sails was fascinating. There were a few moments when we dipped way to one side and the passengers had to hang on. That made the trip exciting. The boxed lunch was tasty: a good-sized turkey wrap with cranberry-mayo dressing, couscous with raisins and a slice of pie (pumpkin or apple). Folks also seemed to enjoy the warm cider, although I didn't have any of that. Points of interest we saw included Seaman's Memorial, Grant's Tomb and the Pallisades. Sailing under the GW Bridge was also a treat. I wish there was a way to link photos to this review. | ||||||

| It was a beautiful day and the sail was great. 1. The staff was great and friendly 2. Food and beverages were very good Just wished: 1. we had gone a bit further north 2. that the staff had narrated a bit about what we were seeing. | ||||||

| I thought the cruise was very nice and lots of fun. The only negative was that we did not get very far up the Hudson River. We sailed just past the GW bridge and then turned around so we did not get to see much fall foliage nor did we feel like we got out of the city for the day. However, I believe that our cruise was the first one that the company had ever done. I would definately consider doing it at least once more to see if they made the necessary improvements. The crew was friendly, the atmosphere was great, the boat was nice. Overall, it was lovely. | ||||||

| We enjoyed it. Only negative is there was only one choice of meal which was turkey wrap, couscous w/raisins and apple or pumpkin pie. One member of our party couldn't eat any of it and went hungry. I had called to ask in advance what lunch was and was told sandwiches, cookies and salads. Suggest in the future that either they advise people there is only a single choice so we are prepared to bring our own snacks or else provide some choice or at least some snacks like pretzels or chips or something. However, crew was great and boat was nice and we enjoyed the ride. Hot apple cider w/rum was nice treat. | ||||||

| The captain was very frinedly and knowledgeable. Your website should be clearer that this is an outdoor cruise and to dress warmly in the fall! | ||||||

| Had a great time. I am an experienced sailor myself and the skipper answered all of my annoying questions about the boat, the river, etc. When I travel I often try to book a sailing trip and the skippers are sometimes annoyed at another sailor asking a lot of know-it-all questions (I don't blame them), but your guys were great and were genuinely enthusiastic about teaching me about the boat and asking about my personal sailing experience. It was a good experience for my date too, because she puked (and it wasn't even rough at all) and we realized that we were not compatible and broke up the next day -no joke! Hey, life is short, you need to know these things as soon as possible... | ||||||

| I have visited New York over the past fiveteen years and wanted to do something new and exciting! If you like boats and being casual and free......this is definitely the way to go! The captain and his crew are excellent and the boat is large enough for one to have his own space. It was a bit chilly, but dress warm and enjoy the experience! | ||||||

| My parents were in town from Australia and I thought this would be a cute thing to do with them, on advice from a friend. It was just astoundingly good. SO spectacular, and professional, and beautiful, peaceful, well-run. It was the highlight of their trip. Worth every penny! | ||||||

| We had a fantastic time, even in light wind, the captain actually sailed the boat in order to make the most of the wind. They are beautiful boats, in great repair and sail really fast. As a sailor, it was a thrill for me , and for my friends who were not sailors, they really enjoyed the stability, comfort and beauty of the boat and the sail. I would recommend this as a MUST-DO activity in New York. | ||||||

| This was the most non-touristy thing we did while in NY and our favorite. Very relaxing environment on a beautiful boat. We sipped on champagne while viewing the gorgeous city lights of Manhattan, New Jersey and the Statue of Liberty. We also went by the four waterfalls that were on display at the time. The captain points out a few things along the way but for the most part is silent so we didn't feel like our heads were going to explode with data like they do on those red buses!! We thought this was a very special thing to do. No disappointments and zero complaints here! | ||||||

| Your boat ride was fantastic! I would recommend it to everyone. We had a blast!!!! The crew was great. But you should turn up the volume on those speakers. That was the only thing that was sub standard. Everything else was great!!!!! My friends couldn't stop talking about it. Thank you for a great day. | ||||||
