| WHY I RECOMMEND THIS TO TOURISTS: As often happens when you visit a major city, especially for the first time, the tendency is to run around like crazy and try to see everything. In New York, that means spending your time primarily in the overwhelming congestion of mid-town. If you want to stop and catch your breath for two hours, book a trip on the ADIRONDACK or the IMAGINE. You will be able to achieve a number of things at the same time. Aside from being extremely relaxing, you will get to see the Statue of Liberty very close up; you will see the extraordinary view of the lower Manhattan skyline that you've seen in a thousand movies; and you will get to engage in friendly conversations with the other passengers, both local and from out of town. Captain Julian and his crew are very adept at insuring that the passengers have a really good time and a great sailing experience. Before or after your sail, you can wander through the neighborhood (Chelsea) and see hundreds of (free) art galleries, from 19th to 27th Streets, between 10th and 11th Avenues. So go ahead, click the button. You'll have a wonderful time! (PS. I wish the ADIRONDACK would bring back the seasonal membership plan.) | ||||||

| My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our cruise around the harbor. The crew handled the boat well and were very helpful and courteous. Highly recommend this cruise for a great view of the city at night as well as a close up of the Statue of Liberty at night. N. McLeod | ||||||

| While in NYC, we tried to "do it all." The sailboat ride was something I suggested to my friends, half jokingly because I figured they would not go for it. Shockingly, they thought they would like to try it. Out of all the things we were able to do, this ended up being the one thing we all said we would do again when we come back. We took the sunset cruse and everything was perfect. Gracious boat crew, warm blankets, delicious beverages (what a variety!), and a scenary that we could not have imagined. Definitely, this topped it all! | ||||||

| Durant notre séjour à Manhattan de 4 jours, nous avons fait une croisière de 2heures sur l'Hudson sur un voilier nommé l'Adirondack. Ce fut un moment inoubliable de notre séjour, voir Manhattan au couché du soleil puis avec les lumières de la ville, c'est fabuleux ! Le vent qui vous emporte jusqu'à la Statue de la Liberté, tout en dégustant une verre de Champagne, rien de plus romantique à Manhattan ! Je vous conseille particulièrement cette activité, qui nous a permis d'avoir d'autres souvenirs de New York bien que cela faisait le troisième séjour à Manhattan et plein d'autres activités comme un tour d'hélico ou bien l'Empire State building by night, Rockfeller Center.... | ||||||

| amazing tour... we had a perfect day and sailing on he hudson is a such a relaxing way to spend it. Other boats are not the same experience. Crew was friendly and helpful. | ||||||

| For my boyfriend's 30th birthday, I surprised him with a daytime sail before dinner out with friends and family. I have a tendency to get seasick, but my boyfriend has been dying to sail around the city for weeks, so I decided to give it a chance. I was pleasantly surprised that I did not feel seasick at all! But that is only a minimal part of how great this trip was. It was so beautiful and relaxing on the water and the crew was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They explained all the ins and out of sailing and the boat we were on. It was just a great day and I felt like I'd had a massage when we got back on land. We will definitely be doing this again and bringing friends with us. | ||||||

| This is the best way to enjoy the New York skyline and statue of Liberty and experience sailing on a wonderful vessel. The weather was sunny, the crew were great and for our party of four this was the best part of our visit to New York. | ||||||

| The bruch cruise was a great way to spend our 1st anniversary.The weather was incredilble and the boat and its crew were fantastic.The only down fall was the food.It wasn't the fault of the crew.There was a group of rude people that felt it was their job to get to all the food first eat as much as they could and leave very little for the rest of the people.My wife and I did have a very nice lunch afterwards at Chelsea piers, because just a bagel and some fruit wasn't enough on the boat.Overall the boat,crew, and bloody marys were excellent. | ||||||

| I have nothing negative to share - this was a terrific way to enjoy the sights of NYC (and we live in NYC) and was even fun for our 5 yr old son who got to drive the boat (with the captain). | ||||||

| My boyfriend of two years and I received a gift certificate from my parents to go on a cruise. I thought it would be full of tourists and cheesy, but it was a good mix of locals and visitors, couples and groups of friends. I was intimidated by the sailing schooner at first, but when we started out I realized how relaxing it would be. We sat the whole time - although you can stand and walk around - and had great views of the city and Jersey. Definitely go at sunset/night for better views. | ||||||

| What a way to see the city!!!! This was a birthday gift for my boyfriend, and was the LAST thing he expected. Staff was friendly and accomodating, the yacht was beautiful, drinks were delicious!!! We got lucky and had gorgeous weather, not sure how great it would be if it was raining, but I strongly recommend this activity, it's not one you will forget!!!!!! Thank you!!!! | ||||||
