My wife and 8yr old son recently took the night boat and had a great time. The boat is very nice and comfortable. It's not too big but has a nice ride and big windows so you can see everything without braving the elements. If you like the elements, all you have to do is open a window or take a short walk to the bow. The staff was proficient and friendly and I was pleased that they did not gouge me for drinks on the boat.

The schooner was great! A couple of us thought we'd get seasick, but we were fine. The complimentary drinks were nice, but snacks would have been nice also. Even though it was chilly and windy, we had a great time and managed with coats and scarves. Only complaint is we thought the schooner was going to go farther or even around the island more.

This was the first trip of this type for my family, we didn't really know what to expect....We were pleasantly surprised. Loved the fact that it was on a "smaller" scale and received that "personal" touch...The history was awesome and very informative.. The boat was very comfortable and the food was delicious...I would most definitely recommend to friends. Actually I already have and they are planning on booking it ASAP... We took the Sunset Sail on the Imagine in early October, so there were only about 15 other passengers brave enough to face the cold. A truly amazing evening! You could see twinkling lights of the Verranzano Bridge to the south and of the George Washington Bridge to the north. Friendly crew. Plenty of wine. Warm blankets. And the sailing was smooth, so it wasn't scary at all. A great way to celebrate a special evening. For tourists, it's a great way to discover New York. And for residents like us, it was a great way to rediscover the wonder of the city.

beautiful sunset cruise. captain pete and the crew were very hospitable. my girl friend took me but i would recommend this as a date for any guy trying to impress his lady friend or just to see the sky line of nyc if u are on vacation.

We were a group of about 15 people for a birthday party. Weather was somewhat chilly and threatening rain, but we went out anyway and were so happy we did. Crew was friendly, kept glasses full of champagne, and passed around cozy blankets when we headed into the wind. Everyone had a great time on the water experiencing the magic of being under sail.

I was lucky and had a small group on the ship, so we were free to move about the ship, ask questions and relax. The staff was friendly, helpful and fun. Seriously, don't see the harbor any other way.

I have always wanted to ride on a sailboat so my husband told me to get the tickets and he would take me for my Brithday. It was a georgous day and the ride was so relaxing. There is nothing like it. The crew was great, very friendly and made the whole experience a day I will always remember. I am going to tell all my friends and family to take this sail and I hope to go again soon myself. I would like to experience the sunsrt cruise next time. Ruth & Frank

My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to be on the final voyage of the season, for the schooner "Imagine." We enjoyed a breathtakingly romantic view of a lighted Manhattan skyline, that guided our way along the Hudson. Our destination? The Statue of Liberty, barely visible from the vessel's berth but awe inspiring when finally reached. The crew was phenomenal — the captain was professional yet entertaining, taking the time to personally speak with all the passengers as we sailed. The rest of the crew was attentive and friendly — bringing us blankets when the wind breeze became brisk and champagne to toast the evening. The only sad part is having to wait until next year to sail again.
