| There are two boats run by this company - one is a sail boat, the other is a 1920's yacht. They are both beautiful boats and offer great cruising around lower Manhattan. I've been on the sail boat twice and really enjoyed it. This time we booked late, for July 3, and the sail boat was booked. We opted for the yacht. While waiting to board the yacht the sail boat filled up with a very young, hip, good looking crowd and the yacht line grew long with families, lots of kids and some older folks. Well, we were in the mood for the younger, hipper crowd... anyway, can't always get what you want. So, the cruise was nice, very knowledgeable captain offering up all kinds of interesting tidbits about the harbor but with all the kids running around, it wasn't exactly the mood we were going for. None the less, either boat is recommended, especially for out of towners. Pulling right up to the Statue of Liberty... there's nothing quite like it. Awesome.... | ||||||

| My wife and I have been married for five years. We were trying to decide what to do on our fifth anniversary. She came up with the idea of a sail. We researched on the web, and luckily came across the Schooner Adirondack. We went with 11 friends and relatives. The crew was helpful, professional and friendly. The setting and weather were great. We loved being with family and friends, having a drink, and watching New York go by. We brought a picnic along, which was fun to eat bobbing up and down. We would recommend it to anyone - it is well worth the price. A wonderful anniversary thing to do! | ||||||

| Everything was perfect (the boat - the crew - the brunch). We were a group of 15 people from Switzerland and I can say that all of us enjoyed the Cruise. The objective was to celebrate an important event by doing something special in Manhattan. We will keep amazing memories. I srtongly recommand this activity. Really good value. | The Sunset Sail was wonderful. The breeze was perfect, at 5 - 10 knots. A local sailing club was having a regatta, and so the harbor was full of sailboats, like white butterflies turning golden in the setting sun. A gorgeous orange, pink, and lilac sunset was happening just as we passed the Statue of Liberty. As we headed home a big yellow full moon arose over the city, and behind us the memorial lights from the World Trade Center site lit up the sky. A memorable evening evening, indeed. | ||||||

| We'd recommend the trip highly. The small boat made the cruise around the island intimate and was quite a nice experience. One piece of constructive feedback that we'd like to provide. We were looking forward to a quiet reflective trip (in specific contrast to the Circle Line type experience). We weren't expecting a MC/Narrator. On this specific day (7/23/06), a volunteer from a large group narrated the entire trip. I'd suggest that the note for the cruise make it more clear if there was / wasn't going to be an MC. It may well have made the trip more enjoyable for some. For us, having someone knowledgeable of whom questions could have been asked would have been prefereable. All in all it was a fantastic trip that we'd recommend. | ||||||

| We really enjoyed the experience. At first I questioned being on a day cruise for 3 hours but, the time just flew by. We saw so many interesting things about the city. I live here and it was still fun and relaxing for me. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. | ||||||
