Very Romantic! Sunset Sail on Schooner Adirondack or Imagine

I first found out about Schooner Adirondack a few years ago and decided to go this past Sunday with my boyfriend. He was impressed! We had a lovely time, holding each other, looking at the sunset and the beauty of NYC. Overall the trip was very romantic and the crew was very warm and helpful. I wish I had done it earlier.

The Adirondack is a great way to see New York in all of its beauty. As you pass the Statue of Liberty, you can only imagine what the American ancestors felt as they spotted this beautiful lady.

A Surpringly Plesant Experience Around NYC Waters Around Manhattan Brunch Cruise on Luxury Yacht

Wow! It was more than what we anticipated initially, was simply amazing to take a full three hours of cruise on a decent (term "luxury" would be misnomer) yatch.It was wonderful day of summer, as sunny as possible and was getting tolerably breezier minute by minute. As the day progressed the tour became more exciting - courtesy awesome weather, can not ask for more. A few point which we have noticed worth mentioning are: #1: The hosts were quite courteous and polite. They all welcomed us very warmly as their special guests as we boarded the ship and ship departed just on time. So be punctual, if you don't want to miss the boat. #2: The boat seemingly was a bit small to accommodate comfortably a group of thirty plus revelers (adults and kids together). It was clean, decorated and well arranaged. It had nice red color rug which lent the ship so called quality of luxury.The seats should be cozier, I guess. #3: The tour guide who happened to be our vessel operator was quite soft spoken, and informative but I personally felt that she needed to be a bit more elaborative about the rich history of the bridges as we passed under more than two dozen bridges in the 3 hours trip. #3: The quantity of the food was more than enough and it was being replenished as and when required. #4: Quality and variety of the food, I would say, needs facelift as there is a reasonable room for improvement there. As it was a brunch, it should have more items which should make one feel that it's really a filling the appetite. #5: For vegetarian folks, it will be barely enough to have it and feel like you have had a real solid brunch though there is enough of fruit salad if you can satiate yourself only with fruit servings and variety of juices. #6: In spite of calm waters, the boat rocked a few times, tumbling the glassware off the tables, but the staff personals at the ship were prompt to clean the mess so that the guest can enjoy their time to the fullest. Now comes the most important part of ranking the whole experience. I would rate it 7 out of 10.It’s definitely worth taking this ride circumnavigating island of Manhattan with your near and dear ones specially if you are a tourist and wants to see the island in the shortest time. I’ll take another one when they better the whole paraphernalia to take this experience to another level or two higher. Bon Voyage M&S

My husband and I were in NYc for the weekend - and this was fantastic - I have done it before but my Husband hasnt - the only thing I would say is make sure you check the weather and dress appropriately, the weather got very cool in NYc on sat night - drop from the mid 60's to the low 50's and it was extremely cold on the water - even though we had big sweaters on and also the crew ( who is great!) supplied us with blankets. The view is amazing - really great way to see liberty and NYC - would highly recommned this trip as something very different to do

We just returned from our trip to visit our daughter and friends in NY City. The sail boat ride was by far the very best thing we did because we got out away from the hustle of the city and were able to appreciate how truly beautiful and incredible the area really is. Seeing the Statue of Liberty with the sun going down behind it is something to never forget.. The captain and crew where the best sailors and let out the sails ....we really loved that. The wine and beer were an extra delight..we also had a small picnic we brought aboard. When it got windy they gave us blankets. We did not want the ride to end. It was also fun because everyone had so much fun together..everyone on board became a whole as we traveled around on the river and past the Statue of Liberty and other friendly boats and sailboats. From the second we stepped on the boat until we were back on the dock, the crew and captin were great. We felt very safeon the bost and the trip was great. We are looking forward to doing it again soon. We have told about 20 of our freinds waht a great time we had. I have 56 pictures from Saturday night, great sunset and blue skys.

My wife and I love this trip, but it would be even better with Champaign :) I would recommend it especially right now when whether and wind is perfect for sail... Summer is almost gone so enjoy it now!

I took my family out for my sisters 24th birthday on Saturday Sept. 15, the 3:30 cruize. There was a great breeze and great views of the city. The crew couldn't have been better!
