A Classy and Fun Way to Spend the Night

| I took the sunset cruise and it was a perfect way to spend a warm evening. The captain and crew were very nice, and I appreciated the complimentary refreshments. While $50 may seem expensive, it is actually deal considering it is nightlife and you get a couple free drinks on the ship. Touring NY Harbor in a sailboat is definitely much more fun and interesting than the countless motorboats, some too big to even feel like you're on the water. This made for a very classy date, and there is also a valet or car pickup/dropoff circle right at the entrance to the pier, which is perfect for fancy car or limo service. I would recommend this activity strongly. | ||||||

| The captain and his staff are very friendly and informative. It is a lot of fun and exciting to see how they manuver the sails and serve drinks without spilling a drop. The view of New York and the calm of a sail boat is something everyone should experience. | ||||||

Amazing Sailing Experience

| My wife and I took the afternoon sail on the Schooner Adirondack. The boat was clean and comfortable and only had about 15 other passengers, so it wasn't overcrowded at all. We sailed away from Chelsea Pier and down to the Statue of Liberty. If you want to see the Statue of Liberty without all of the lines and hassles, this is definintely the way to do it. The view of Lady Liberty is actually better from the boat than it would be from Liberty Island. We also had great views of the West side of the city, including Jersey City, the financial district and the high-end lofts and condominiums on the Hudson. The captain and crew were perfect and they provided drinks for everyone. If we could have afforded it, I would have also taken a night sail. If you're a golfer, you should check out the multi-level driving range at Chelsea Piers. The driving range is right next to the dock where the Adirondack stops. My wife and I hit a few hundred golf balls after the sail. | ||||||

| Seeing this city from this view was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! I would high recommend this cruise to anyone visiting the NY area. It was my birthday and I wanted to do something special and this definitely filled the bill. | ||||||

| We were on our honeymoon. The boat trip was fab! The staff were very friendly and is a great opportunity to see round manhatten and get so close to the Statute of Liberty. | ||||||

| We've taken many boat trips on New York Harbor over the years, but yours was the absolute best! The crew was charming, polite and very skilled. | All the sails are great, but do the sunset cruise if you can. Beautiful views of Manhattan as you sail away, then the skyline lit up as you return. | ||||||

| Fun, simple. romantic...The sail was one of the coolest things I've ever experienced while in the City. I live upstate on the Hudson. It's amazing how much I felt like I was home on the water, even though we were surrounded by NYC, NJ and the Statue. Great, worth the time and the $. Go for it! | ||||||
