Loved the City Lights Tour

| We decided to take a romantic, city lights with waterfalls tour after dark for our first wedding anniversary. It did not disappoint. The tour is a full 1-1/2 hours, and the vessel is very comfortable. While the weather when we went was perfect (surely the tour didn't arrange the weather!), even on a hot night the water and wind from the boat moving through the water would be cooling. Just being able to sit (or stand) without needing to do anything else and look at the water and lights was very relaxing. The lights of NYC are beautiful from the water, as well as the beautifully lit bridges. Seeing the waterfalls was fun and, although I did not expect to be impressed by them, they were rather interesting. The complimentary champagne/beer/wine might have been the only disappointment, as I thought these would be complimentary throughout the cruise. I did not notice in the cruise description "first round only complimentary champagne/beer/wine". It turns out only the "first round" was complimentary. When my husband went to get a beer after we'd each had one glass of champagne (we aren't big drinkers) he was informed that only the first round was complimentary and was asked to pay $4 for a beer. A little stiff, imo, as a 6 pack costs only around $8. However, a small flaw in an otherwise very nice, relaxing evening. I would go again and recommend it to anyone wanting a different view of the city. Plus, the sky, moon and stars were very visible from the water and that's not something you generally see when you're in the City. Nice staff, as well. When I couldn't figure out how to hold both glasses of champagne to go outside (and join my husband) the first mate offered to take them out for me. | ||||||

| I recently took my boyfriend for his Birthday and he was so surprised. Him and I absolutely loved it. The weather was perfect, it was night time, the city lights, full moon with the person you love, what else can you ask for? It was such a romantic date that we sure have not had in a while. It was like our first date again...I would definetely reccomend this to anybody. And the staff were so nice and friendly....Not to forget about the bar ;).... | ||||||

| The sail was great...we were a group of 10 women and we had a really good time...the views were amazing and the full moon made things even better...It felt refreshing being so close to the water..i only wish that we could sail more without the engine on, but i guess that depends on the weather! I totally reccomend it ! A great experience of NY city under a moonlit sky! | ||||||

| I think it was so romantic the drinks were good and the crew was very informative about the rules on the boat but, there were too many groups on the boat and kids. It should be a couple’s sail, no groups and if you’re giving out drinks there shouldn’t be kid’s presents! | ||||||

| We had a terrific time. It was a beautiful night-- the weather conditions couldn't have been better. The crew was absolutely great, very attentive and polite. I have already reccommended this boat ride to several people since we went (2 days ago!) and am definitely planning on going again. Also: it's a really good value. We had 4 drinks each, and the ride was 1 1/2 hours, all for $50. | ||||||

| We lucked out with the weather. It was a spectacular night, calm, warm and clear. We had two boys with us, 11 and 7 years of age. They liked it since this was new to them and the views with the full moon over Manhattan were very beautiful. However, I think the activity is too long. The scenary doesn't change much for a long time. I know you are limited to what you can do or go, but it just felt like it was much the same for a long time. Also, the schooner was full. Every bit of a sitting area was taken. I think this is more interesting to tourists but since I work in Manhattan, this was not as exciting. | ||||||

| What a great way to spend 2 hours of one's Saturday night! Although the stunning weather made for an excellent sail, the staff was incredibly nice, the drinks were flowing, and the trip itself did not feel like a tourist excursion. I definitely recommend it! | ||||||

| Took my wife and parents on a the Imagine for a Sunset Cruise to cap a fun day of wandering lower Manhattan, and it ended up stealing the show. A gorgeous sunset with amazing sightlines, an upbeat crew, and a laid-back experience in a hectic town made for the hi-light of the weekend. Highly recommended... | ||||||

| My wife and I really enjoyed the boat ride. We, at first, were thinking about going on one of the bigger and cheaper boats. However, my wife saw how crowded it was and we decided to pay more and go on the Manhattan. It was the right decision. The boat was not over crowded and we had a wonderful experience. The crew was friendly and helpful. This is something that we may do again the next time we visit NY. | ||||||

| I took my boyfriend on the Sunset and Waterfall cruise, and we loved it! Everything was gorgeous: the boat, the city, the light, the waterfalls, etc. It was the perfect time of day to see the city. The crew was very nice, and it wasn't too crowded. The first round of drinks was complimentary, and the rest of the drinks after that were very reasonably priced. I will absolutely do it again. Worth every penny! | ||||||

| My husband, sister-in-law and two friends surprised me with the 6p-8p Hudson Harbor sail on Saturday 8/16 as a birthday gift. It was a phenomenal experience - the crew (Captain Kat was AWESOME!!!!) was so enthusiastic and hospitable and really gave us a great experience. We loved that we could bring our own food, and really appreciated the three rounds of drinks. What a spectacular evening and a great value for the cost.
