| Everything lovely. Crew cordial. Slight delay in sailing but no problem. I wish they would describe some of the sights a little - even as New Yorkers we did not know what we were looking at some of the time. Had no idea the Lackawanna Railrod had a terminal in N.J. and supplies were ferried across the river into NY. I asked crew member and he explained. It was a very pleasant two hours. | ||||||

| The vessel is truly beautiful; shiny wood and brass, just what a yacht should be. The crew was not only professional, but friendly and helpful as well, beginning right at the ticket booth. The food was simply outstanding. There should be a warning about how much more is coming! This was the last event of our trip and a truly fitting finish, which all four of us enjoyed immensely. We would recommend this highly, it was well worth the price. | ||||||

| The boat left right on time, and the champagne was immediately available. The trip to the waterfalls was bracing -- we stood at the rail at the front and enjoyed bouncing the waves. When the trip was nearly over, we went inside because of rain and found the interior very pleasant and inviting -- lower to the water than the bow. All in all an exhilarating experience. | ||||||

| I would come again as this cruise was so enjoyable. The staff and captain were very accommodating. The ship was well designed and even when we heeled, the guests remained comfortable. The crew engaged with the guests and were informative of the points of interest. Advertising in NYTimes, The New Yorker, WSJ with photo of the Schooner that was so inviting, should generate sales [SAILS!] Thank you for such a pleasant afternoon. | The boat -- service, comfort, cleanliness, promptness -- all top-notch. Didn't think the waterfalls were of great interest: liked the idea of them more than the actual installation. Still, would do it again as it was something different. | ||||||

| We saved this tour until our final day of touring the city and it was a good decision. I can still see the illuminated Statue of Liberty as we cruised the harbor--absolutely stunning. The crew could not have been more courteous. This trip was all about creating a certain mood or feel for the city rather than a narration of factual material. Somehow it seemed to sum up all the other sights we saw and send us back home on a happy note. | ||||||

| Our group of six family enjoyed the day-sail on the Adirondack. The weather was perfect - enough breeze for sailing, but not too much for comfortable conversation and sight-seeing. It was nice to be served cold beer and soft drinks, and the crew was pleasant, knowledgeable and competant. Some of the other passengers were a bit loud and had more than they needed of the beer, but I appreciate that it is difficult for you to control that. I would certainly recommend the sail to others. | ||||||

| Great trip with a grandchild or a child ages 9-17. Peter, the skipper, was excellent....cheerful and informative, and the other 2 crew were swell. The best part, of course, is under sail. | ||||||

| Ths trip around Manhattan in a brand new yacht built along "classic" lines was a perfect platform to enjoy yourself while seeing the "city" fron the outside. The crew was very congenial and you felt like you were their guests. Being a boater from a different part of the US, it was a dual experience where I could see the New York sights and discuss the navigation proceedures in the area with the Captain. My wife was reserved about the trip until she took it. She felt it was the highlight of our trip. | ||||||

| Captain was extremely informative and sail mates friendly and helpful. Blankets were available and cushions in the cock pit which made it very comfortable as it got cool on the water at about 5.45 and the sun went away on Nov 1 - it got dark early due to time change. Would definetly recommend. Only suggestion, perhaps someone could point out the areas of Manhatten that people from outside the area would know what they are viewing. Also signage for finding Pier 62! | ||||||

On the Hudson in the Adirondack

| The four hour sail up the Hudson was well worth the money. For the same cost as a show or a bus tour, you get a relaxing, quiet look at the Manhattan skyline and NJ Palisades. Plus, drinks (yes, with Rum if you want it) a sandwich and a knowledgeable, friendly crew are included. The trip ran from the 23rd street dock to the GW Bridge. Although we were expecting more mileage, the distance was right for the time, given the wind and current conditions. There seemed to be little space to retreat to if it rained, so be prepared for the prevailing weather conditions [although the web site says the trip would be cancelled if the weather is too inclement]. We sailed on a crisp November day, and it felt like we successfully extended our Summer vacation. | ||||||
