Let me start by saying the weather was as good as it gets for a sunset cruise. Almost a full moon, a dark blue perfectly clear sky, a very slight breeze and 75- 79 degrees for the duration of the 2 hour trip. There was not enough wind to actually use the sails alone so they used as little motor power as possible in conjunction with the sails to move us gently along (it did not interfere with the ambiance at all). This was a brand new gorgeous sail boat. The crew members were helpful, knowledgable, friendly, funny, and served plenty of refreshments (beer, wine , champagne, soda and water) and acted as though they were genuinely glad to have you onboard. The NY skyline was stunning. I can't remember when I have throughly enjoyed something sooooo much. A-W-E-S-O-M-E, I WILL definetly do that again........
We booked via internet and I was glad we did as the sail was a very popular one and I think sold-out.
An added note for amateur photographers with DSLR camera. I add this because I wasn't sure what lense to take and ended up taking 2 (which I was trying to avoid but in the end was glad I did) an 18-85mm and a 70-300mm. 75% to 80% of my photos were taken with the 70-300mm but had I not taken the 18-85mm I would not have gotten 2 of my favorite shots. Of course if you have a faster lense with more variation in range TAKE IT.

Five Canadians took this sail on a warm October evening with a full moon as backdrop for the magic that is the New York skyline. Don't miss this fabulous tour with the best crew and beverages!! We love the Adirondack!! |

The only negative was that the trip could have been much more. We went from chelsea pier to the statue of liberty and back. We hung a while in the harbor before going over to the statue but that was it. We surely could have made it to the brooklyn bridge etc. |

My wife and I really enjoyed the Sunday brunch cruise - beautiful boat, cozy atmosphere, wonderful food. Was able to get a lot of photos of sights in and around Manhattan. Really enjoyed cruising under all of the bridges, especially being able to see so much in a short period of time. A "must do" for visitors and even the locals! |

The boat is beautifully restored, clean and comfortable. The crew is knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The food is very good; a nice brunch, with ample selection for a vegetarian as well. The tour takes a unique and often overlooked view of Manhattan, as well as the other boroughs. We were visitors to the city, but even those on board who live there gave it high marks. We had a lovely 3 hours on a sunny, warm, Fall Sunday. What a great experience! You should do this! |

We have previously done the Circle Line tour around Manhattan, and thoroughly enjoyed it.....except for the crowds. We were so fortunate to have signed up for this magnificent tour on the most perfect 80 degree fall day that New York could offer. The food was wonderful, the sights were breathtaking, and the captain's audio presentation was very informative. My only negative comment is that when we first started at our assigned tables, it was rather cramped inside. If the weather had not been so beautiful, I don't know how comfortable I would have been, staying inside for the whole trip. But the weather was so incredible that several of us spent the entire cruise up on the deck, out front, so I think everyone was comfortable. We'll definitely do this again next time we're in NYC. It's half the price of a decent Broadway show ticket, and well worth every penny of it, considering the food, service and of course the pleasure of enjoying your favorite cocktails while you tour. |

This is the third time that I have been on your boat (past 2 years).I loved the sail in the past everything was great, I highly recommended it to my friends. This year i brought my family that was visiting from california, seven people in all. The boat was late, when we got up to entering the boat the workers would not let us sit by the front side of the boat they said it was reserved for workers, so we had to sit by captain,it was very noisy hardly sailed (used engine power almost the whole time even thought there was a good breeze) there was a strong diesel odor and the captain kept putting himself into our family pictures(he thought he was funny-he was not). All in all I was extremely dissappointed- the trip cost us $400.00 for two hours. Both my adult children felt sick from the disel smell. I dont complain lightly- i grew up sailing on a pierson 30 in long island sound so I know a little about sailing and Im sorry to say i would probably never go on your boat again |

Perfect weather, nice selection of wines with knowledgable host. Would like to have been able to sit with all members of my group as we had been promised when the reservation was made. Also seems to be very little communication between the ticket house and the boat. |

My daughter and I were recommended to take the Brunch Cruise by friends who had previously visited New York from the UK. As a 55 year old travelling with a 27 year old daughter, finding activities that we both enjoy can be problematic but the Brunch Cruise was a roaring success! The boat was just the right size and comfortable, the food was delicious and plentiful and the Captain was very entertaining - just our sense of humour. The commentary on the trip was really informative and fun and we were lucky to get a table with really interesting fellow cruisers. All in all a really enjoyable few hours and we would definitely recommend it - we are rather sad not to be in New York for the Carols and Cocoa trip at Christmas! Maybe next year! |

This is a wonderful and relaxing way to see the New York and surrounding areas. The views of New York, New Jersey and Lady Liberty are fantastic. The Wind blowing through the sails sets a very peaceful tone. The staff is very helpful but allows each person to enjoy the trip. I would highly recommend this trip and will plan to do this again. |

Perfect day for a harbor tour and the sunset was awesome behind the Statue of Liberty. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great boat to see the sights. Not too big ... Not too small. Just right. |

By far a New York trip highlight. The boat is very comfy and well kept. The service is friendly. We were exceptionally fortunate to find that our cruise was only occupied by a total of 12 people, which made it intimate. i speculate that this would be an ideal set up for a small party. There is plenty of room to roam about and the area we went to provided spectacular views. my recommendation is to try to book the sunset on a Wednesday nite, as you might avoid the crowds. This is a professional company and I was impressed with the service they provided. |
