Fun and relaxing evening

Our evening sail on the Adirondack was a surprise date I planned for my wife. We had a great time. The trip down the Hudson, around the Statue of Liberty and back up the Hudson was wonderful -- great views and great weather. The captain and crew were friendly, professional, helpful. (I'd read other reviews that the captain told too many corny jokes, so we sat up front and enjoyed a quiet, peaceful two hours out on the water.) The boat was full, but not crowded, on this Thursday night. We'd recommend this as a great way to unwind, relax and enjoy a romantic night out doing something a little different....

I had previously been on the Adirondack and was very excited to be on the Imagine for this trip. I always take family and friends on the sunset sail when they are visiting. It never disappoints. I very appreciated the crews attempt to get us to the waterfalls at the Brooklyn Bridge.

I'd have to say that our sailboat experience was among my top ten experiences visiting anywhere, and we travel quite a lot. We are from Boston, and my 20-something step daughters were here visiting from Europe, and they could not stop talking about it for the rest of the evening. We were about 25 people on the boat and had plenty of space to take in all the sights. The weather was perfect, the staff jovial and efficient, and the boat was superb! As some people say, it's not a guided tour, and that was fine for us. After about 20 minutes on board, we began to just relax, take in the view and watch the staff working the sails expertly. They were more than happy to tell us about certain things we saw along the way, and were gracious and funny. Seeing the State of Liberty, other boats and planes, and the magnificent architecture of Wall Street illuminated by an incredible sunset gave me a whole new perspective about New York. Thanks CHH, for a wonderful evening!

We found this a few years ago for my 40th birthday and we've done it several times a year since. We recommend it to anyone visiting and bring both visitors and friends from the city out on the sail. Everyone loves it. It's works for people of all ages. It is so easy to get tickets, show up, get on board and spend a gorgeous 2 hours seeing the harbor. It's so low key, but has a casual, elegance about it. The crew is always friendly and effecient. Nothing else in the city compares to this on a summer evening.

Even before we arrived I already had positive feelings. We were suppose to go on Friday but the weather was terrible. So I called an hour before the sail and changed it to Sunday without any hassle or machines to go through. Just a friendly person who knew exactly what to do. The sail on sunday was amazing. We left right on time and had a few cocktails to go along with a great sunset and great views of the city. The captain and crew were very friendly and knowledgeable. Well done!

Well worth the price, great realxing cruise in the river, hospitable team on the boat, all around comforting excursion to get away from the city noise :) I recommended this to all my friends already. The one down side was the slightly uncomfortable backrest on the seats but I totally gegt that this is a sailboat and not a cruise ship, this trip was still great.

This was an absolutely fabulous trip, and we highly recommend it. The staff on board were very efficient and polite. This is the second time I've taken this trip, and both times were definately the highlight of our trips. It's incredibly beautiful to see the city lights and statue of liberty lit up at night from the water. With the sunset behind it, it was very memorable. If you have one thing to do when in New York...do this!!!!

I took my boyfriend on this trip as a surprise for his birthday, and it was perfect! Very easy to book. We showed up and everything was ready to go! The crew was very friendly, and the drinks were generous. The sights were amazing! We did the sunset sail and saw a fantastic view of the Statue of Liberty, as well as Manhattan's skyline. Perfect date or birthday present!

This trip can leave one at a loss for words. We cleared the tip of Manhattan and set sail through the area with fantastic views of the city skyline along with Ellis Island and New Jersey. Refreshments were available and served by the crew. We were on the 6:00 PM sunset tour and were fortunate enough to have a gorgeous evening with mostly clear skies. One couldn't have a more relaxing evening with beautiful surroundings. The ship was in great shape and the crew very accomplished. We hope to catch up with them in wintertime in The Keys.
