Sunset Sail aboard the Schooners Adirondack

I was one of the highlights of our honeymoon to the states, which included Las Vegas and New York. The scenery was fantastic, the wind in our hair and the atmosphere on the boat were so enjoyable. I have taken city tours by boat before but always on the ferry type boats. This was luxury in comparison! The boat was beautiful. The crew were great and the wine was lovely too! We had just eaten before hand so didn't bring on anything to eat, but looked on longingly at the array of foods being eaten around us! If I had anything to suggest to this company with regards to improving the tour, it would be to also go up the East River. I would have liked to have seen the bridges and waterfalls. Apart from that, I would highly recommend this cruise on a proper sailing boat!

My family had a fun evening on the Adirondack. Only thing missing was some type of narration giving us highlights of what we were seeing. We also thought we'd have close up views of the waterfall exhibits, but did not. Otherwise, it was a great sail, and the crew was attentive and hard working.

This was our second boat ride with Sail NYC and it was just as great as our first experience. We highly recommend this boat ride and cannot wait to plan our next boat ride.

An old friend of mine was in town for a few days and on her last night all the girls went on the Sunset Sail. We lucked out with an absolutely gorgeous evening. The boat is absolutely beautiful and the crew was a bunch of sweethearts! Being someone who is a bit difficult to please, I was thoroughly thrilled and highly recommend going on the Sunset Sail or any other voyage on this boat!!!

I have lived in New York City for eight years and this was my first time going out on the Adirondack. My sister visiting from Ireland and I did the 6-8 pm sunset sail. The weather was gorgeous and it was perfect sailing weather. Apparently, we were able to go the fastest the boat has gone in a long time. The crew wasfriendly and looked after us with drinks. The boat also wasn't too crowded which was great. This is one of New York's not-so-best-kept secrets. I would definitely do it again and recommend it to friends both in New York and visitors from out of town.

Living in Brooklyn and being a NYer for the past 20 years, we couldn't believe that we had never done this before. The sailboat is lovely, the crew friendly and knowledgable and the champagne free flowing...very romantic! We've already told many friends about it. (TIP---there is valet parking at pier 59 right next to the boat that doesn't cost any more than self parking and was very convenient.)

I'm a New Yorker and this is one of the most wonderful NY activities I've ever done. And the price is right! Being out on the water in a beautiful sailboat (no loud music, like-minded people) marveling at the Manhattan views at sunset was a unique experience. But not too unique -- I plan to do it again! :-) In fairness, I will admit that after a spot of rain, we had a gorgeous rainbow, so my review is partially skewed by that. Or did the company arrange that??? Also, the staff was excellent.

yo...had a great time and will be back. just keep the champagne flowing and you will have satisfied customers, limited alcohol may hurt your business.

Nice people, not too crowded and good service. Surprised that we actually sailed and the peaceful and windy boat trip was very relaxing. We were lucky to see a wonderful sight of manhattan and a spectacular sunset. All in all an experience I d never want to miss!

the sunset sailboat cruise was one of the best things we did in NYC. it was so quiet and relaxing. the crew and captain were SO nice and were full of interesting information about sailing and the city.
