It was a fantastic sail, with a pleasant captain and crew. Highlights were when we put up the sails and were able to take in the breathtaking views of the financial district and the Statute of Liberty without the roar and vibrations of the engines.

Where else can you get the best views in the United States, a seat on a wooden sail boat and the convenience of doing it all from Chelsea Piers? And all for $50 a head with a couple of beers included. We had perhaps the best night of the summer for our sail, and it will hard to beat it the next time we go, but for sure we will try again. We have recommended it to everyone we know as the best two hours you can spend in NYC without breaking the law.

Perfect Anniversary

My husband and I enjoyed the cruise from beginning to end; July 5th was a quiet group of 15, and felt like a private party. Weather was perfect, and a memorable 48th anniversary. Crew members were very attentive, and the Captain was charming. We highly recommend it!

I would have liked to get closer to the Statue of Liberty. It was 4th of July sunset cruise so we couldn't get closer due to security issues. Other than that, it was great, peaceful, beautiful. A rare look at NYC. The crew was friendly, helpful, fun and focused. Great Time, would do it again in a heartbeat!

My husband and I took the 6:00 pm sunset cruise on the Adirondack Schooner on Saturday, July 1st and had a wonderful time. Fortunately for us, we had a beautiful night for sailing. Captain Peter and his crew were very attentive and knowledgeable. We really highly recommend taking this cruise to all.
