| the sunset cruise on the schooner Adirondack was the perfect way to see the statue of liberty and the Manhattan skyline. all great cities should be viewed from the perspective of the first settlers, which usually means approaching by water. this cruise gives you a great sense of both the present and the past. |

| Our cruise experience couldn't have been better! The ticket process (Zerve) was easy and efficient. The crew of the schooner were knowledgeable and friendly and without a doubt, extremely competent sailors. And if I didn't know better, I'd think they ordered up the beautiful sunset just for us. You can't beat the price. The cruise included complimentary wine, champagne or beer. You would spend more in a bar just for the drinks than the price of the cruise package! We will do it again and recommend it to all of our friends and family visiting New York. |

| My three friends and I had a great time on our sunset sail. The crew was very friendly and energetic. The ship was beautiful and so were the views of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. We did have an issue with a large group on the sail who decided to sing the whole time. One "Happy Birthday" or "America the Beautiul" would have been fine, but they went on and on. We didn't feel it was our place to ask them to stop and felt the crew should have found a polite way to do so. Also, some people next to us laid out a little picnic to eat. If this is allowed, it would be nice to advertise that when buying tickets since we would have enjoyed a snack on the 2 hour sail. If it is not allowed, again the crew should have told them eating is not permitted on board. Overall, still worth it. |

| The boat itself is a beauty, the crew of the ship are very approachable, knowledgeable and know how to keep the drinks rolling at a steady pace. The ride itself was good, it's always nice to be out in the water during sunset.
It's really a gamble on who you go with, there seemed to be mainly couples and some tourist on board who want to go on this as it is. A quiet, smooth sail where you can treasure the wind on your face and the smell of the sea unlike NYC. However, there also seemed to be a large group of 12 who seemed to have thought that they have booked the whole boat for themselves and decided to sing song after song after song of anything they can think of. It's great that you're throwing a party for your friend for her birthday but please keep it to yourselves. There's no reason to throw a party on such a boat, if you do and relentlessly ask for more liquor when the crew is already doing a fine job serving. It's not a club. It's not a party boat. I don't care if you work on Broadway, your singing can stay in Broadway. I'm out to sea for a reason. Rant done.
Asides from that one bit, everything else was perfect. The boat will head down Hudson. The sun will set on New Jersey's side. Don't worry about which side you sit, you can always move around. However, next time I would like to be on the Jersey side on the way down as the sun setting is beautiful on the new Jersey City skyline, Statue of Liberty and Elise Island. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family and complete strangers who are looking for something to do in NYC. |

| we REALLY enjoyed the boat ride. it was wonderful, amazing, fun, eventful--very special.
the one thing i would recommend is for you to notify people that you can bring food onboard. we knew from friends ahead of time, but others on the boat didn't know.
overall, a great experience. |

| It was a great moment to share with my family from France, here, for visiting me for the third time. The two first time we did the dinner cruise which is nice but less authentic than a sailboat, we had a better feeling of New York bay, its waves and fantastic fresh air, especially appreciable during the hot summer.
Finally a special thank to the captain Peter who really made this cruise an enjoyable time. |
