| A very special, really remarkable getaway from the bustle of New York City. So interesting to see the City, New Jersey, the Statue of Liberty and other islands, all the bridges from the Hudson. It helped that the weather was warm, with plenty of gentle breeze and the skies clear.
Crew were upbeat and caring; they took good care of their guests.
We'd definitely recommend the Adirondack to others and plan return trip on our annual Summer trip to the City. |

| I took my boyfriend on the Sunset Sail for his 25th birthday and I would recommend this to everyone. Being from the New York area, it was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Once on the water, every care and worry you have is immediately replaced by a total feeling of peace and relaxation. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and very very friendly. By no means was this a booze cruise, however, an endless amount of alcohol was available if wanted. My boyfriend can't stop talking about the cruise. Highly recommended!! |

| A gorgeous sunset sail down the Hudson river to the front of the Stature of Liberty. A great way to see the downtown skyline while getting off your feet. Crew is very accomodating and sets a relaxed atmosphere for the entire ride. Highly recommend reservations at a resturaunt off the Chelsea Piers or near the water after your trip. |

| This is the fourth time I've been on the Adarondack. Every time there's been a different crew and every time the crew has been friendly, helpful and done much to make it a pleasant experience. It's a beautiful boat that feels wonderful under sail. If I have any reservation at all it's that it seems as if it's felt that it's necessary to always sail past ther Statue of Liberty. Twice I've been in a situation where, because of this, when there hasn't been enough wind the boat has had to return under power. My main reason to take these excursions is to go "sailing" and not be on a motorized vessel. I would much rather skip the statue and do as much real sailing as is possible. I realize, of course, that I'm not a tourist and that this may not be the popular reaction but I feel that there are any number of excursions to and around the Statue of Liberty and it would be nice to be able to take one that is truly just for the experience of the sail. |

| the only negative issue with that sail was that the server of drinks on our side of the vessel quit after two rounds. the other server kept serving throughout the sail. |

| We went on our sail on a very unusually cold day in August. It had been raining on and off all day. Our sail was still scheduled and with the miserable conditions the crew remained very upbeat. Due to the weather conditions the river was a bit rough and I do get sea sick. I closed my eyes under a blanket most of the trip, however, we had some views of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty that you could not get anywhere else. For those who are land lovers, I suggest some motion sickness medicine and I was informed after the trip that the boat provides sea bands as well. |

| A wonderful outing -- would highly recommend to anyone visiting New York in the future. Wish we had scheduled a trip sooner! Crew were outstanding and, despite not so great weather, had a smile and encouraging word for those in our group who were new to sailing! This makes our top 10 list of things to do in the Big Apple and we'll definitely be signing up for a repeat trip in the not too distant future... |
