Sunset Sail aboard the Schooners Adirondack

Even though trip started out with rain, the experience was enjoyable. The Schooner crew and captain were very good hosts

...so my fiance was surprised. I made her wait for me at Ruthy's and she thought we were doing a dinner cruise or maybe a trip on the Circle line. She was thrilled and visibly nervous when I pointed out the Adirondack in all her quiet glory! All in all, we loved it, the boat is beautiful and the crew attentive and friendly. It was hazy so the sun wasn't very visible as it set, but somehow the Hudson turned pink and lilac anyway... and there's nothing better than staring up at Lady Liberty from the bay. Last thing, I really appreciated the fact that they stocked local NY brews... Go for the Porkslap Ale. Will be back and since I get to the Keys a couple times a year, will try and find her down there this winter.

My wife and I got married on a schooner, and each year we celebrate our anniversary on a sailboat. This trip was spectacular. Interesting guests, wonderful crew, and great sparkling wine to boot! Highly recommended to locals.

My Wife and I took one of these trips after a long week at work. It was incredibly relaxing. It is also great for tourist that was to see the city for a different view.

What can i say......guys, this trip just gave me a life long friend and companion (she said YES) It was very romantic and the experience was awesome. I recommend this to every couple married or single.

We sailed at sunset. We had a great time. The Captain and crew were good sailors and very pleasant and personable. We would heartily recommend this cruise.

My girlfriend and I have been all around New York (mostly enjoying the restaurant/s and bar atmosphere) and when it came time for a special birthday surprise, my friend recommended this sunset sail experience. I thought this would be an awesome surprise to start off her birthday celebration and it totally did! Not only did we both enjoyed the novelty of being able to sail in Manhattan (without your own boat), but the package totally delivered what it said it would...an incredible time of sailing while enjoying the great views of the city at sunset. Who knew that there was so much more to love (and to discover) in NYC! What a great package overall. Definitely worth recommending and doing over again! Best - Steve M.
