Sunset Sail aboard the Schooner Adirondack

An amazing mini sailboat trip around the city. Great crew, beautiful boat, the views were incredible! Also loved that you're treated like an adult and not herded around like a lost tourist. The beverages were a very welcome treat as well! perfect for a group, a date or even solo if you just want to get away and reflect for a couple hours. Loved it!

I would highly reccommend this for all ages. My girlfiends and I had a lot of laughs. It was a calm beautiful sail. The crew was professional and friendly. You can bring cheese and crackers and have your self a great happy hour cruise.

Cant believe we lived here all our lives and never did this! It was such a great experience. The captain and staff were so nice and enjoyable. Statue of Liberty at sunset was amazing to see. We def plan on doing this again!

A very enjoyable two hours with a different perspective of Manhattan and New Jersey skylines. The crew was very attentive and friendly and myself and my girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed it.

Captain Kate was fantastic - the views were phenomenal - the crew friendly and approachable. As a native new yorker I was worried about this feeling too 'touristy' but it didn't! I was celebrating my boyfriend's birthday and it was a fantastic birthday present. I would absolutely recommend to friends!

The trip was amazing and I would highly recommend it to a couple on a date. It was just purely beautiful - to see all these skyscrapers and amazing buildings during the sunset. Also it is a great way of meeting new people - we met people from Italy, Australia and USA. I will highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see a different side of New York City. We thoroughly enjoyed it and also took some amazing photos, we will always remember this trip! Thank you! (PS: This would also be a great place to ask somebody to marry you...)

If you are looking for something special to do in New York but totally 'untouristy' then this is for you. Finally we found an activity that isn't cheesy or commentated. You can snuggle up under a blanket whilst you are waited on hand and foot by really friendly crew members and are sailed down towards the Statue of Liberty in time for the sunset. The staff are more than happy to answer your questions if you have any. I must admit I felt quite smug as the touristy circle line ferry sailed past us in a hurry! I could feel the jealousy from their passengers as they admired the Adirondack from the 'comfort' of their battery hen style boat and watched us sipping Champagne - hee hee! I highly recommend the Adirondack and would have no hesitation to go on it again. Makes a really special activity for the last day of holidays in New York xx
