Sunset Sail aboard the Schooners Adirondack

Wonderful sunset cruise on maybe the last beautiful day of the year. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our time on the sail and thought the crew was very friendly and helpful. Recommend the hot cider and rum on a cool night; however I was impressed with the variety of drinks on board (and the quick refills). I will remember this sail forever and I'm sure I'll be back in the future. I asked my girlfriend to marry me on the front of the boat and she loved the whole evening. We will definitely be back!

Nice crew, very nice boat with few passengers, wondeful views ! But what a fault of taste to serve (quite good) champagne and wine in awful plastic tumbler !

My wife and I went on a 6pm sail boat tour down to Ellis Island. It was chilly (Mid October), but well worth the money. The crew was very hospitable and for those who don't get to ride in large sailboats often it was enjoyable. Bringing your own food is a good idea, drinks were provided which was a nice addition. Whenever I go back I'd do the same thing again!

Nice staff, the boat is really beautiful, a real sailing vessel. They had us leaning 30 degrees and going pretty fast. Very close approach to statue of liberty. Lots of fun. Bring warm windproof clothes! Ask for blankets, they have plenty. Don't be afraid to move up to the front of the boat for better views - just ask the staff to show you the ropes. The drinks were good considering limitations. Champagne was good quality, hot cider was a nice touch. We had a great time - thanks!

My parents were in town from Australia and I thought this would be a cute thing to do with them, on advice from a friend. It was just astoundingly good. SO spectacular, and professional, and beautiful, peaceful, well-run. It was the highlight of their trip. Worth every penny!

We had a fantastic time, even in light wind, the captain actually sailed the boat in order to make the most of the wind. They are beautiful boats, in great repair and sail really fast. As a sailor, it was a thrill for me , and for my friends who were not sailors, they really enjoyed the stability, comfort and beauty of the boat and the sail. I would recommend this as a MUST-DO activity in New York.

What more could one want? I would go every day if I could.

This was my second cruse on the Schooner Adirondack -- first time with family, this time with business associates. Relaxing, beautiful, peaceful, and interesting.

My girlfriend and I could not have asked for a romantic experience. This is the ONLY way to see NYC from the water. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. You can really tell that they love what they do. The champange and blankets really put a classy touch on the whole experience. This is well worth the price and I would recommend it to any couple that wants a truly unique and romantic experience.

The crew was great, the view was great, an excellent way to see the sunset and skyline of our city!!
