Sunset Sail aboard the Schooners Adirondack

I loved it!

I actually have been on this cruise before but it had been years! I had a terrific time. The crew made it so much fun and I really enjoyed the entire experience. And it was a beautiful day for sailing.

Great time - weather perfect, sunset spectacular, crew friendly! More than met expectations.

I was part of a group of 14 people and everyone enjoyed the trip. Nice amount of drinks offered and blankets were handed out and much appreciated later on in the trip! We were lucky with the weather and being on such a fantastic boat when the sun set was really beautiful. Staff were very friendly, only catch is the compulsory 18% gratuity for group's larger than 12. I'd definitely recommend this trip.

Sunset sail is a very relaxing and a romatic way to see the Statue of Liberty and enjoy the views of downtown NY. It's a nice contrast to the usual walking around and hopping on to subways which can be pretty stressful. The NY skyline looked amazing like it was lit up on fire bec of the sunset reflections. The staff were great and accomodating! In our rush to make it there on time, we forgot our jackets so I was pretty worried about this because it was getting chilly that night. But they provided us with thick blankets which were truly a life saver!

Just a wonderful time. Both crew and boat were great with a special thank-you to a wonderful crew that was very attentive. Do not think I could have asked for more really.

I brought the trip as a present to my boyfriend for his Birthday, I opted for the sunset cruise and it was amazing best part of our trip. The views are spetacular and the crew were fantastic. Would recommend to anyone, it's a perfect way to end your trip. Many thanks Gwen Hayes UK

This is a solid "10-out-of-10" activity. The "Adirondack" sailing fleet consists of truly gorgeous large (80 ft.) schooners of traditional design, designed and built by the people offering the service, Scarano Boats in Albany, NY. The ad I read said that there was complimentary champagne, but that's not the half of it. They serve it in 8 oz. cups, full to the brim. My wife and I went for the Adirondack Ale, which was excellent. And they kept asking if we wanted more. The crew's service was topnotch, the group of passengers was a fun, interesting crowd, and the views from the boat, sailing in front of the Statue of Liberty at sundown, were breathtaking. Make that "11-out-of-10."

This excursion was a lot of fun. The crew was friendly, competent and enthusiastic. This was my first sailboat trip and I would definitely go again. Please note that the crew will answer any questions you have but this is not a "narrated" excursion. My wife and I sat back and enjoyed the scenery , the sound of the sails and water. The boat left right on time and we enjoyed the sunset on the way out and the nice lights of the downtown area on the way back. They provide complimentary beverages (beer, champagne, soda) but it is not a "booze" cruise. I highly recommend this trip and it was well worth the money.

I advise to do this activity at the sunset. During this activity you'll have a wonderfull Manhattan's view aboard beautiful sailing ship
