Sunset Sail aboard the Schooners Adirondack

The trip was so much better than anticipated. The crew was so attentive, taking care of our every need. The boat was clean, other people nice and the scenry was lovely.

This was probably the 4th time I've sailed on the Adirondeck although the first sunset cruise where beverages were included & leaving from Chelsea Piers as opposed to South St Seaport. The whole experience was fantastic. The crew are professional, organized, attentive & courteous. I prefer this venue too - less touristy & crowded. We had a great time - something different to celebrate an occasion or simply the end of a work week!

This is our second time out with this outfit and the captain and crew were great this time as well.

I brought my boyfriend on the Adirondack III in late September. The experience was complete bliss. The sail could not have been more perfect. I'd go again in a heartbeat

We really enjoyed the relaxed, laid back atmosphere on board The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Captain Andrew rusn a great tour of NY Harbour. His jokes are hilarious and he makes the entire trip fun. My family and I have a sail 2 or 3 times per year and it is a very relaxing way to spend a couple of hours on the water, see the Statue of Liberty and the NYC skyline. We will go again.

Unfortunately, we never made it. My wife and I had a nice dinner Newark, NJ and left the restaurant with a hour and a half till we boarded the boat. I figured on a Sunday afternoon and nice weather that would be plenty of time. Needless to say, the traffic in the Holland Tunnel was at a stand still and we never made it. We were crushed because it was our anniversary and we don't get out much having three small children.

This excursion was a lot of fun. The crew was friendly, competent and enthusiastic. This was my first sailboat trip and I would definitely go again. Please note that the crew will answer any questions you have but this is not a "narrated" excursion. My wife and I sat back and enjoyed the scenery , the sound of the sails and water. The boat left right on time and we enjoyed the sunset on the way out and the nice lights of the downtown area on the way back. They provide complimentary beverages (beer, champagne, soda) but it is not a "booze" cruise. I highly recommend this trip and it was well worth the money.

We went on this cruise on Labor Day Weekend and loved the whole experience. I proposed to my girlfriend on the cruise at sunset. It was such a romantic experience and we met other people on the cruise that were great and are keeping in touch. Overall, a wonderful experience.
