Sunset Sail aboard the Schooners Adirondack

My three friends and I had a great time on our sunset sail. The crew was very friendly and energetic. The ship was beautiful and so were the views of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. We did have an issue with a large group on the sail who decided to sing the whole time. One "Happy Birthday" or "America the Beautiul" would have been fine, but they went on and on. We didn't feel it was our place to ask them to stop and felt the crew should have found a polite way to do so. Also, some people next to us laid out a little picnic to eat. If this is allowed, it would be nice to advertise that when buying tickets since we would have enjoyed a snack on the 2 hour sail. If it is not allowed, again the crew should have told them eating is not permitted on board. Overall, still worth it.

we REALLY enjoyed the boat ride. it was wonderful, amazing, fun, eventful--very special. the one thing i would recommend is for you to notify people that you can bring food onboard. we knew from friends ahead of time, but others on the boat didn't know. overall, a great experience.

The Captain --Kate was fantastic! She made you feel very secure with her professioalism yet comfortable and relaxed.

We try to do this cruise every year because it is so much fun. The only thing I would recommend is maybe slowing down a bit near the statue of liberty because this is a good photo op for people and hard to do when the boat is going by it so fast. Otherwise its a great time and the staff are really fun!!!

There was a summer storm passing when we went out on the water. It passed quickly and the crew quickly distributed raincoats to all. The weather was very nice on the way back and the drinks kept everyone happy.

A wonderful outing -- would highly recommend to anyone visiting New York in the future. Wish we had scheduled a trip sooner! Crew were outstanding and, despite not so great weather, had a smile and encouraging word for those in our group who were new to sailing! This makes our top 10 list of things to do in the Big Apple and we'll definitely be signing up for a repeat trip in the not too distant future...

Hi A group of us had a wonderful experience for our dear friend's bridal shower/bachelorette party on Saturday. The crew was gracious and friendly - the cruise itself was GORGEOUS! Seeing the statue of liberty and the New York skyline on board of such a beautiful boat was something that our friend will never forget....it was relaxing, elegant and just a wonderful time. Our group was comprised of all New Yorkers and we have certain expectations (I know we are a jaded but it's a reality!)....it is so nice to know that this is an option for a future get together...we will be back! Thank you!!
