| Overall I would recommend the sunset schoonor sail around NYC. The staff was very friendly, easy going, and always ready to re-fill your drink. The sail itself was very enjoyable with great views of downtown Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. The time of two hours I thought was perfect. No one became sea sick, even though there were some decent waves out. My only problem was we signed up for a sunset cruise and the 7:00 departure in mid-September left us leaving after the sun had gone down. So it was a pretty big disappointment not getting to watch the sun set when that was the whole purpose of the event. |

| My husband and I received this trip from a family member for our 25th anniversary. We were welcomed in a very friendly manner. We were given detailed information about our trip and where things were located on the boat. The service was excellant. We had such a wonderful time. We would recommend this for sure. We also will go again. Thank you for a great time. |

| An upcoming visit to NYC (sept 16th- sept 21st 2009) made me plan a couple of activities in advance.
Like Hotels, Broadway shows, diner & lunch reservations and trips.. for instance The Sunset Sail on Schooner.
Although everything was planned carefully, schedules can be too tight... so we couldn't make it in time for our sail trip.
I tried to reschedule my trip but as mentioned before it was an inpossibility, refunding the tickets even more..
Now, nothing against the organisation because they clearly state it, but as a warning for parties to book in advance, beware of these strict rules...
You can always book directly on the pier, for the boot is almost never completely booked (depends on the season).

| Right after landing at LGA to embark on his first trip to NYC, I hurried my boyfriend to Chelsea Piers to catch the sunset cruise...which was a surprise that I so proudly kept secret for a whole week! He loved it! What a way for him to see the city for the very first time!!!! He fell in love immediately-with the city, not me too soon for that :) Everything about our sail was just amazing....the views were so lovely during the end of summer sunset. And the crew couldn't have been better. They were professional and courteous, and always kept your glass full with their complimentary beer, wine or champagne. I highly recommend this sail! The price is a steal. One of the best deals in the city! Seriously, where else can you have 4-5 rounds, breathtaking views of the city, and a quiet romantic evening for $50 a person?! |

| I rarely like tour or herd-mentality kinds of things. This is not at all like that. It's a sailboat cruise with a little wine and beer to make things nice. We are lucky to have stumbled across this outfit last year when my 20-something step daughters visited from Europe. We wanted something that would please us all, and it was probably the highlight of the trip. Though they were very impressed with the trendy dinner place we picked, this was their pick for best of the day. We just loved being out in the river, with the sun glinting off Manhattan architecture, the waves slapping quietly against the boat while sipping a little wine.
This year we were pleased to find most of the same staff, with still the most pleasant and down-to-earth attitudes. They are just nice, real people. We had a great time, and we'll definitely be on their boat again as soon as we can. |

| Great crew, great service, great sail--nice to coast for a bit toward the end of the ride. I took my best friend for her birthday, as we first met when we were in sailing lessons as little girls. It was perfect and I am definitely recommending this to family and friends. |
